Jerry J. Welter (born February 17, 1935) is an American politician in the state of Iowa.
Welter was born in Monticello, Iowa. A Republican, he served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 1993 to 2001 (56th district). [1]
"Sou fräi" was the Luxembourgish entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1992, performed in Luxembourgish by Marion Welter & Kontinent. After some thirty-five years in the Contest, Welter and Kontinent were also the fifth ever act representing Luxembourg to actually be native to the Grand Duchy.
