Jessica 'Jess' Edwards (born 20 September 1989) is an Australian rules footballer playing for Carlton in the AFL Women's (AFLW). A defender who played with Collingwood in the VFL Women's competition (VFLW) in 2018, she was drafted by Carlton with the 42nd pick overall in the 2018 AFLW draft. [1] Edwards debuted in the opening round of the 2019 season and played in the 2019 AFL Women's Grand Final. [2]
