Jet Black is the fourth studio album by Canadian singer-songwriter Gentleman Reg, released February 24, 2009. It is his second release on Arts & Crafts, following the compilation Little Buildings in 2008, and his first album of new material since Darby & Joan in 2004.
"You Can't Get it Back" was released as an advance single in fall 2008.

It was founded in 1999 by Lisa Moran and Tyler Clark Burke as a vehicle for releasing albums by their friends; it became an influential player in Canadian music with the breakout success of the Constantines' self-titled 2001 release on the label. Dog Trumpet or Reg & Peter's Dog Trumpet is an Australian rock band, formed by brothers Reg Mombassa and Peter O'Doherty. Both Mombassa and O'Doherty were formerly members of the iconic Australian band Mental as Anything, and they formed Dog Trumpet as an outlet for their original material. The Fragile, the second album by the folk music duo O'Hooley & Tidow, was released on 9 February 2012 on the No Masters label. It received a four-starred review in The Guardian. The album's title is derived from the words of one of its songs, "Mein Deern", about the dying hours of Heidi Tidow's German grandmother.
