Jett Kenny (born 1994) is an Australian ironman, model and television personality. [1] [2]
The son of ironman Grant Kenny and competitive swimmer Lisa Curry, Kenny has competed in professional surf lifesaving competitions since the age of six. [3]
In 2016, Kenny was signed to Vivien's Models. [4] [5]
In 2018, Kenny competed in the Nine Network's Australian Ninja Warrior and was one of eight celebrities to appear on the Seven Network's The Real Full Monty. [6] [7] [8]
In 2019, Kenny competed in Network Ten's Dancing with the Stars , where he placed fourth. [9]
It was announced in 2021 that Kenny would be part of the SAS Australia TV show. [10]
In 2023, Kenny was reported to take part in the Network Ten's revival of Australian Gladiators as one of the Gladiators. His stage name is "Viking". [11]
Kenny prompted some public debate about parental discipline in 2018 after posting a video to his Instagram account of a misbehaving child in a doctor's waiting room with the caption "give your kid a goddam smack". [12] [13] Media commentator Jane Caro criticised Kenny's attitude and said that parents already have a tough job without receiving gratuitous advice from strangers. [14]
In September 2020, Kenny's older sister Jaimi Lee died after a long illness. [15]
Thomas James Kenny is an American actor and comedian. Since 1999, he has voiced the titular character in SpongeBob SquarePants and associated media. Kenny has voiced many other characters, including Heffer Wolfe in Rocko's Modern Life, the Ice King in Adventure Time and its spinoff Fionna and Cake, the Narrator and Mayor in The Powerpuff Girls, Carl Chryniszzswics in Johnny Bravo, Dog in CatDog, Hank and Jeremy in Talking Tom and Friends, The Penguin in various animated media based on DC Comics, and Spyro from the Spyro video game series. His live action work includes the comedy variety shows The Edge and Mr. Show. Kenny's accolades include two Daytime Emmy Awards and two Annie Awards for his voice work as SpongeBob SquarePants and the Ice King. American Ninja Warrior Junior is an American sports competition reality show on Universal Kids that premiered in 2018. It is the children's edition of American Ninja Warrior and American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs. Ninja, which themselves are based on the Japanese game show Sasuke. As with the rest of the franchise, the series is produced by A. Smith & Co. In May 2021, it was announced that the third season would be moving to Peacock. The show planned to return for a fourth season in February 2023, but after a series of delays, an actual date is not yet confirmed.

The documentary traces Jett's musical career from the formation of the Runaways through her subsequent partnership with songwriter and producer Kenny Laguna.
