Jim Driscoll is a retired American football coach and former player. He is the former head football coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, a position he had held from 1988 to 1991 as the program's inaugural coach. [1]

Driscoll's stint as the head coach at the University of Mary came in between two stints as a defensive coach at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan. [2]

Wade Phillips is an American football coach, currently contracted to be a head coach for the upcoming, XFL 2023 Season. Lloyd Carr American football player and coach (born 1945)

Lloyd Henry Carr Jr. is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Michigan from 1995 through the 2007 season. Under Carr, the Michigan Wolverines compiled a record of 122–40 and won or shared five Big Ten Conference titles. Carr's 1997 team was declared the national champion by the Associated Press. His record coaching against top ten-ranked opponents was 20–8. Carr was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2011.

John Alexander Robinson is a former American football player and coach best known for his two stints as head coach of the University of Southern California (USC) football team and for his tenure as head coach of the NFL's Los Angeles Rams (1983–1991). Robinson's USC teams won four Rose Bowls and captured a share of the national championship in the 1978 season. Robinson is one of the few college football head coaches to have non-consecutive tenure at the same school. In 2009, he was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. Robinson was a former consultant to former head coach Ed Orgeron at Louisiana State University.

Dick Tomey American football player and coach

Richard Hastings Tomey was an American football coach and player. Tomey served as the head football coach at the University of Hawaii at Manoa (1977–1986), University of Arizona (1987–2000), and San Jose State University (2005–2009), compiling a career college football record of 183–145–7. His last full-time coaching position was as the special teams coach at Hawaii in 2011 under head coach Greg McMackin, who resigned after the season. Tomey was not retained by McMackin's successor, Norm Chow. Tomey served as a head coach of the victorious West team in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game on January 11, 2013 at Kino Stadium in Arizona.

Robert Hollway was an American football player and coach. He played college football for the University of Michigan and was a member of Michigan's undefeated 1947 and 1948 teams. He thereafter served as an assistant at the University of Maine (1951-1952), Eastern Michigan University (1953), Michigan (1954-1965) before joining the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, as the head coach of the National Football League's St. Louis Cardinals (1971-1972), and assistant coaching stints with the Detroit Lions (1973-1974), San Francisco 49ers (1975), and Seattle Seahawks (1976-1977).

John Arthur Banaszak is an American football coach and former player. He was formerly the head football coach at Robert Morris University. Banaszak played in the National Football League with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1975 to 1981. He is a three-time Super Bowl Champion. Banaszak was a starter at right defensive end for the Steelers in Super Bowl XIII and Super Bowl XIV. He later played in the United States Football League (USFL), winning a championship as a starting defensive end for the Michigan Panthers in 1983. Banaszak played for Michigan in 1983 and 1984 and for the Memphis Showboats in 1985.

James Harold "Sleepy Jim" Crowley was an American football player and coach. He gained fame as one-fourth of the University of Notre Dame's legendary "Four Horsemen" backfield where he played halfback from 1922 to 1924.

Michigan State Spartans football American college football program

The Michigan State Spartans football program (MSU) represents Michigan State University in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision level. The Spartans are members of the Big Ten Conference. Michigan State claims a total of six national championships. The Spartans have also won eleven conference championships, with two in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and nine in the Big Ten. The Spartans compete with in-state rival Michigan for the Paul Bunyan Trophy.

Robb Akey American football player and coach (born 1966)

Robb Alan Akey is an American football coach, currently the defensive coordinator at Central Michigan University. He was the head coach at the University of Idaho from 2007 to 2012.

Jon Heacock is an American football coach and former player. He is the defensive coordinator at Iowa State University. Heacock served as the head football coach at Youngstown State University from 2001 to 2009, compiling a record of 60–44. He was an assistant coach at Youngstown State for seven seasons under Jim Tressel.

Randy Awrey is an American football coach, former player, and former track and field coach. He is currently the head football coach at Perquimans County High School in Hertford, North Carolina, a position he had held since 2018. Awrey served as the head football coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College (1990–1994), Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wisconsin (1994–1998), and Saginaw Valley State University (1999–2007), and Concordia University Chicago (2013–2017), compiling a career college football coaching record of 134–106–1. He was also the head track and field coach at St. Lawrence University from 1986 to 1989. He has been inducted in the athletics hall of fame at Northern Michigan University, St. Lawrence, Lakeland, and Saginaw Valley State.

Cory Hall is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the head coach at Edison High School in Fresno, California. He was drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in the third round of the 1999 NFL Draft. He played college football at Fresno State. Hall also played for the Atlanta Falcons. In 2017, Hall served as Oregon State's interim head football coach for six games after Gary Andersen abruptly resigned.

Jim Brandstatter American sports announcer

James Patrick Brandstatter is an American sports announcer. He is the radio play-by-play announcer for the Michigan Wolverines football team. He held the position of color commentator for the Detroit Lions for 31 years until the end of the 2017 season. Brandstatter is also a sports television show host and former radio show host; both TV and radio shows about Michigan football. He played college football for the Wolverines, from 1969 to 1972, where he was a standout offensive tackle. Brandstatter has written two non-fiction books about UM experiences, both of which were best-sellers in the sports category. His other positions include the two-time president of the Detroit Sports Broadcasters Association. Brandstatter leaving the Detroit Lions radio broadcast was announced on July 10, 2018.

Don Treadwell is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the Offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Doc Gamble's inaugural staff. Treadwell served as the head football coach at Miami University from 2011 to 2013 and as the offensive coordinator at Michigan State University from 2007 to 2010, where he also acted as interim head coach after Mark Dantonio suffered a heart attack during the 2010 season.

Michael Lee Teeter is a former American football player. He played college football as a middle guard for the University of Michigan from 1986 to 1989. He played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) as a special teams player for the Houston Oilers in 1993 and 1994. He also played during the spring of 1991 as a defensive lineman for the Frankfurt Galaxy in the World League of American Football and appeared in one game for the Minnesota Vikings in the fall of 1991.

Paul Jeffrey Haynes III is an American college football coach and former player. He is the current cornerbacks coach for the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the former head football coach at Kent State University, a position he held for five seasons. Haynes previously served as an assistant coach at the high school, collegiate and professional levels for 20 years, including stints as defensive coordinator at Ohio State University and the University of Arkansas. Prior to his coaching career, he was a four-year letterman as a defensive back at Kent State between 1987 and 1991.

Christopher Paul Klieman is an American football coach and former player, and is currently the head coach for Kansas State University in the Big 12 Conference. He took over from the retiring Bill Snyder after leading North Dakota State University to the 2018 Division I FCS championship, marking his fourth national championship in five seasons at NDSU.

Aaron Keen is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Washington University in St. Louis. Keen served as head football coach the Illinois College from 2003 to 2007 and as the interim head football coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato from 2012 to 2013. He has also been an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Nebraska Omaha.

1967 Fairmont State Falcons football team American college football season

The 1967 Fairmont State Falcons football team was an American football team that represented Fairmont State University as a member of the West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WVIAC) during the 1967 NAIA football season. In their 16th season under head coach Harold "Deacon" Duvall, the Falcons compiled a perfect 11–0 record and won the WVIAC championship.The team advanced to the NAIA playoffs where they defeated Northern Michigan in the semifinals and then beat Eastern Washington in the Champion Bowl to win the 1967 NAIA national championship. The team led the NAIA in defense, allowing only 119.8 yards per game.
