Jim Kessler (born December 21, 1948) is an American retired college basketball coach.
Kessler is a 1966 graduate of Northwest High School in Hughesville, Missouri. He played four years of college basketball at Grace College, graduating in 1970. [1] Since 6th grade he wanted to become a coach. [2] He started coaching in high school and came back to Grace College in 1975, where he served as an assistant coach for two years, before being named head coach in 1977.
Kessler, often referred to as Coach K, stayed on the job until 2019. He was also an associate professor of physical education. [3] In 42 years as head men's basketball coach at Grace, he won 788 games. He led Grace to the 1992 NAIA Division II National Championship title, won ten conference championships and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament nine times. Under his guidance, Grace was a NCCAA National runners-up four times. [4] During Kessler's tenure, the Grace Lancers had 18 seasons with 20 wins or more and three with 30 wins or more. He took his teams to international trips to countries including Philippines, Jamaica, Bahamas, Egypt, Germany, France and Kenya. In 2013, Kessler was a court coach at USA Basketball's World University Games’ Training Camp. [5] He retired as the winningest active coach in NAIA Division II basketball. [6]
After retiring as head coach in 2019, Kessler became Special Assistant to the Athletic Director at Grace College. [7]

Emil Smith "Liz" Liston was an American athletic coach and administrator. He coached basketball, football and baseball at Wesleyan University and Baker University. He was the founder of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, organized the NAIA college basketball tournament in 1937 and served as the first executive director of the National Association of Intercollegiate Basketball from 1940 to 1949. He was posthumously inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1975.
The Malone Pioneers are athletic teams of Malone University in Canton, Ohio, United States. The Pioneers compete in Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) as members of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC). Malone joined the GMAC after four seasons in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC). Malone joined the GLIAC and Division II in 2011 and completed the NCAA Division II membership process in July 2013 after having previously competed in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). In 2016, the Pioneers will begin play in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, also known as the G-MAC.

The team last played in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship in 2019. Their first season was 1896. The Sycamores have had 12 All-Americans, 26 Major Leaguers, and more than 2,070 victories. The team's most successful season was in 1986, when the team appeared in the College World Series and finished with a record of 48–21. The Sycamores have appeared in the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship in 1979, 1983, 1984, 1987, 1989, 1995, 2012, 2014, 2019 and 2021.
William Kevin Donley is an American football coach and former player. He is with the passing of Bobby Bowden the all time living winningest collage football coach. In the spring of 2021, Donley began his 42nd championship season as a head coach in addition to the 1997 season which was devoted to establishing the football program at the University of Saint Francis. Donley was named head coach there in April 1997. The Saint Francis Cougars began play in the 1998 season; thus, the 2020 championship season marks Donley's 23nd season since the program's inception.
John Landis Longfellow was an American basketball coach and player. He is best known as National Title winning-head men's basketball coach at Indiana State University as well as leading the USA National Team to a gold medal in the 1951 Pan-Am Games.

The Saint Francis Cougars is the athletic name of the teams that compete for the University of Saint Francis, located in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. The teams compete in the NAIA's Crossroads League and the Mideast League of the Mid-States Football Association.
Grace College & Seminary is an evangelical Christian college in Winona Lake, Indiana. It has six schools: The School of Arts and Sciences, The School of Behavioral Sciences, The School of Business, The School of Education, The School of Ministry Studies, and The School of Professional & Online Education (SPOE). Grace Theological Seminary, which began as the parent institution, now exists as part of the School of Ministry Studies and is also located on the Winona Lake campus. Since 2011, several commuter campuses have also started. While the college and seminary are historically affiliated with the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches, the student body and faculty of both institutions have diverse denominational backgrounds.
Danny Miles is a retired American basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Oregon Institute of Technology for 45 years from 1971 to 2016. Miles has led the Hustlin' Owls to three NAIA Division II National Championships. He achieved his 1,000th win on February 1, 2014, in his 43rd year of coaching at OIT. This is the fourth most of any men's college basketball coach all-time. The other coaches at a four-year school with 1,000 or more wins are Harry Statham, coach of McKendree University, Mike Krzyzewski, coach of Duke University, and Herb Magee, coach of Philadelphia University.
Jacobi Melius Alton Christiansen was an American football and basketball player and coach. He served as the head football coach at Valparaiso University from 1929 to 1940 and at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota from 1941 to 1968, compiling a career college football record of 175–92–15. Christiansen's 1964 Concordia team tied with Sam Houston State in the NAIA National title game. Christiansen is one of the few college football coaches to have coached in a stadium named after himself.
Joanne Bracker is a retired American college basketball coach. Bracker taught basketball during the late 1960s before becoming the women's basketball coach for Midland University in 1970. With the Midland Warriors, Bracker appeared multiple times at the NAIA Women's Basketball Championships for Division I and Division II between the 1980s to 2000s. Bracker's best performance with the team as head coach was a fourth-place finish at the 1985 Division I championship. Bracker continued to coach with Midland until her retirement in 2012. After her retirement, Bracker held the record for most wins ever for a NAIA women's basketball coach with 736 wins and 403 losses. Apart from Midland, Bracker was a committee member that picked American women's basketball players for the 1991 Pan American Games, 1992 Summer Olympics, and 1996 Summer Olympics. Bracker was inducted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame in 1996 and the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 1999.
