Jim Newman is an American actor, writer, producer, and director. Born in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, he lives in Manhattan, New York.

He has written animation scripts for Casper , Toonsylvania , [1] and Mega Babies .

Jim was also the director and producer of the live stage version of What's My Line? in Hollywood. [2]

An auteur is an artist with a distinctive approach, usually a film director whose filmmaking control is so unbounded but personal that the director is likened to the "author" of the film, which thus manifests the director's unique style or thematic focus.
