William McNeill was a Scottish football player and manager. He had a long association with Celtic, spanning more than sixty years as a player, manager and club ambassador. McNeill captained Celtic's 'Lisbon Lions' to their European Cup victory in 1967 and later spent two spells as the club's manager. As a player and manager, he won 31 major trophies with Celtic.
James Leighton is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Leighton started his career with Aberdeen, where he won seven domestic trophies and the 1982–83 European Cup Winners' Cup under the management of Alex Ferguson. Ferguson then signed Leighton for Manchester United in 1988, but dropped him after he conceded three goals in the 1990 FA Cup Final. Leighton then had spells with Arsenal, Reading, Dundee and Sheffield United, and rebuilt his career after joining Hibernian in 1993. John McKeand "Ian" McNeill was a Scottish professional footballer and manager. Playing at inside forward, McNeill started his career at Aberdeen, making his first team debut in January 1951. McNeill moved to England in 1956, and went on to play for Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion and Southend United. He returned to Scotland to join Ross County, then a Highland League club, initially as a player before taking over as manager the following season. He led the club to their first ever Highland League Championship in 1967.
James Graeme Sinclair is a Scottish former footballer, who played for Dumbarton, Celtic, Manchester City and St Mirren. Sinclair man-marked Johan Cruyff when Celtic beat Ajax in a 1982–83 European Cup tie. Sinclair won a Scottish League Cup winner's medal in December 1982 when he played in the Celtic side that won 2-1 in the final against Rangers. In November 1984 his former Celtic manager Billy McNeill signed him on loan for Manchester City. He made his debut in a 4–1 League Cup defeat at Chelsea, but made just one league appearance, against Portsmouth, in which he was substituted at half-time.
Sean Andrew McGinty is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Scottish club Ayr United, who he also captains. After a spell with Charlton Athletic as a junior, he began his professional career with Manchester United. Having failed to break into the United first team, he had loan spells at Morecambe, Oxford United, Carlisle United and Tranmere Rovers before signing for Sheffield United on a permanent basis. He had loan spells at Northampton Town and Rochdale, signing permanently for the latter at the end of his only season in Sheffield. He then spent time on loan at FC Halifax Town and Aldershot Town before again making the move permanent. In June 2016, he signed for Torquay United, where he spent two seasons before moving to Scottish club Partick Thistle. In 2020, he would leave to join Greenock Morton for a season. In the summer of 2021, McGinty signed a two-year deal with Ayr United, following his previous manager David Hopkin.
Morgyn Neill is a Scottish professional footballer who plays a defender for Alloa Athletic. He has previously played for Motherwell, Livingston, Stranraer, Stenhousemuir, Dumbarton and Cove Rangers, as well as Ayr United and Stranraer on loan.
