Jim Tredger is a Canadian politician,who was elected to in the Yukon Legislative Assembly in the 2011 election. [1] He represented the electoral district of Mayo-Tatchun as a member of the Yukon New Democratic Party caucus from 2011 to 2016.
Prior to elected office,Tredger served as president of both the Association of Yukon School Administrators and the Yukon Teachers Association. He has also sat on the boards of the Canadian Association of Principals,Yukon College,United Way Yukon and Food for Learning Yukon. [2]
During his term in office,Tredger served as the NDP critic for education,energy,mines and resources,and rural issues. [3] He was defeated by Liberal candidate Don Hutton in the 2016 Yukon general election.
Tredger is married with four children and four grandchildren. [4]

The Yukon New Democratic Party is a social-democratic political party in the Yukon territory of Canada.
Piers McDonald,OC is a Yukon politician and businessman. Born in Kingston,Ontario,McDonald,originally a miner by profession,is a long-time MLA,Cabinet minister,and the fifth premier of Yukon. He was leader of the Yukon New Democratic Party from 1995-2000.
James Francis Dinning is a Canadian Progressive Conservative politician and businessman. He was a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta (1986–1997),and now serves on the board of directors of a variety of Canadian companies. Dinning ran for the leadership of the Alberta Progressive Conservatives to replace Ralph Klein as Premier of Alberta. The 2006 Yukon general election was held on October 10,2006,in Yukon,Canada,to elect members of the 32nd Yukon Legislative Assembly. The Premier of Yukon asked the territorial Commissioner for a dissolution of the Assembly on September 8,2006. He is also a former Chief of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation.
