Jin Yongde (born 14 February 1986) is a Chinese sport shooter. In 2014 he won the 25 m center fire pistol team event at the Asian Games. [1]
50 meter pistol, formerly and unofficially still often called Free Pistol, is one of the ISSF shooting events. It is one of the oldest shooting disciplines, dating back to the 19th century and only having seen marginal rule changes since 1936. It is considered to provide some of the purest precision shooting among the pistol events. The target of this event has not changed since 1900, and the 50m distance has remained the standard since 1912. The sport traced back to the beginning of indoor Flobert pistol parlour shooting in Europe during the 1870s.

Rana is also a Commonwealth Games medalist, winning gold medals at the 1998, 2002, and 2006 Commonwealth Games. One of his most successful events was the 2002 Commonwealth Games, where he won six medals including the gold for Men's 25m Center Fire Pistol.
Jin Jong-oh is a South Korean sports shooter who competed at the 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. The only individual four-time Olympic champion in shooting, he is the most successful individual shooter at the Olympics, being the only athlete to have won three consecutive Olympic gold medals in an event in shooting. He holds the world record in both 10 metre air pistol and 50 metre pistol and held the final world record in 50 metre pistol until Jitu Rai broke it in 2017.
The men's ISSF 50 meter pistol event at the 2008 Olympic Games took place on August 12 at the Beijing Shooting Range Hall. There were 45 competitors from 32 nations. The event was won by Jin Jong-oh of South Korea, the first of his three consecutive victories in the free pistol. It was his second medal, after taking silver in 2004; he was the 10th man to win multiple medals in the event.

It was his third medal in the event, making him the fourth man to earn three free pistol medals. His countryman Choi Young-rae took silver, the first time since 1976 that a nation had finished 1–2 in the event. Chinese shooter Wang Zhiwei received bronze.
Lee Dae-myung is a South Korean sport shooter. He won a silver medal in the men's 50 m free pistol at the 2010 ISSF World Shooting Championships in Munich, Germany, accumulating a score of 665.2 targets. He also captured two more gold medals for air pistol shooting at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China, and at the 2012 ISSF World Cup in Sydney, Australia, with scores of 685.8 and 691.3 points, respectively.

The event was won by Jin Jong-oh of South Korea, his third consecutive victory in the free pistol. He was the only man to win two gold medals in the event, much less three. Jin was also the second man to win four medals of any color in the event, after Ragnar Skanåker of Sweden from 1972 to 1992. Hoàng Xuân Vinh took silver, the first medal for Vietnam in the event. Kim Song-guk's bronze was North Korea's first medal in the free pistol since 2004.

Ye Tun Naung is a Burmese sport shooter who competes in pistol events. In 2014 he represented Myanmar in 2014 Asian Games. In 2015 he won silver in 3rd World Cup stage and secured quota for Myanmar in 2016 Summer Olympics.
Vladimir Aleksandrovich Goncharov is a Russian sport shooter. He collected a total of three bronze medals in pistol shooting at the ISSF World Shooting Championships, and was also selected to represent Russia at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, finishing ninth in the air pistol and fourth in the free pistol. Gontcharov is also a member of the shooting team for Dynamo St. Petersburg, under head coach Anatoliy Suslov.
Kim Cheong-yong is a South Korean sport shooter. He won a silver medal in boys' 10 m air pistol shooting at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, and eventually claimed a gold medal to a thunderous applause from the home crowd when South Korea hosted the Asian Games a month later. Kim is a member of the shooting club at Heung-deok High School in Uiwang under his personal coach Kim Seun-il.
Malaysia competed at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 6 October to 18 October 2018. The chef-de-mission of the contingent was former two-time Olympian archer Cheng Chu Sian. Malaysia won its first gold medal at an Olympic event, having previously won silver and bronze medals.
