Jincheon County (Jincheon-gun) is a county in Chungcheongbuk-do Province, South Korea.
The 2014 Asian Games, officially known as the 17th Asian Games, was a pan-Asian multi-sport event held in Incheon, South Korea. This was the third time South Korea hosted the Asian Games since 2002. Previously, it hosted the 1986 edition of the Games and the 2002 Asian Games.

WJSN, also known as Cosmic Girls, is a South Korean-Chinese girl group formed by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment. Taereung International Skating Rink is a speed skating oval in South Korea, used for training and competitions, operated by the Korean Olympic Committee. It is one of only two indoor long-track (400m) skating facilities in the country, and the most actively used, with Gangneung Oval completed in 2017 for the 2018 Winter Olympics but planned for conversion to a multi-sports and convention center. The 2020 Asian Track Cycling Championships is taking place at the Jincheon National Training Center Velodrome in Jincheon, South Korea from 17 to 21 October 2019. Despite the event is planned for 2020, it is brought forward to October 2019 because of the 2020 Summer Olympics qualification timeline.
