Jo Anne Lyon (born 1940 in Blackwell, Oklahoma) is Ambassador and General Superintendent Emerita of the Wesleyan Church . Lyon was elected as the first woman General Superintendent at the June 2008 General Conference. [1] In 2012 she was elected as the only General Superintendent of the denomination. [2] Lyon was ordained as a minister in the Wesleyan Church in 1996 the same year that she founded World Hope International, [3] an organization desiring to alleviate suffering and injustice through education, enterprise and community health.

From 2016-2017, Lyon served as interim Vice President of Wesley Seminary in Marion, Indiana. Lyon holds a bachelor's degree in education from the University of Cincinnati, a Masters in Counseling from The University of Missouri-Kansas City and further graduate work at St. Louis University in Historical Theology. She has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity from Northeastern Seminary and United Wesleyan College and an honorary Doctor of Humane Letters from both Southern Wesleyan University and Indiana Wesleyan University.

Nazarene Theological Seminary (NTS) is a Nazarene seminary in Kansas City, Missouri. Kevin W. Mannoia is the Pastoral Coach at the Rock Church, San Diego. He is a Professor of Ministry and formerly the University Chaplain at Azusa Pacific University. He was the President of the National Association of Evangelicals from 1999 to 2001. Prior to this, he served as Bishop of the Free Methodist Denomination overseeing the western U.S. and Asia. Alfonso G. Pablo Sr. is a retired ordained Filipino Wesleyan clergyman who was General Superintendent of the Wesleyan Church of the Philippines from 1989 to 2005, and was the chairman of the International Conference of The Wesleyan Church for four years from 2000. Pablo is currently General Superintendent emeritus of The Wesleyan Church of the Philippines, a distinguished professor at the Wesleyan Graduate School for Asia Pacific in Rosales, Pangasinan, adjunct professor at Asia-Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary, and the chairman of Global Transformation Ministries, and chairman of the Asia Evangelistic Fellowship Philippines. Pablo has led various parachurch organizations in the evangelical community, including being the chairman of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches. In 2010, Pablo published a book, Transforming Leaders: The Filipino Church Administration. This followed by his second book Transforming Households (2014) and his third book Transforming Believers, October 2020. He is currently writing his fourth one, Transforming Faith.

David Busic is an ordained minister and 40th general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene, the denomination's highest elected office. He was elected on June 25, 2013, at the 28th General Assembly and Conventions in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Carla D. Sunberg is an American ordained minister in the Church of the Nazarene, administrator, academic, author, speaker and former missionary and registered nurse, who is the 2nd woman elected as a General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene, and was the first woman and the 10th person elected as president of Nazarene Theological Seminary. At the time of her election on January 3, 2014, Sunberg was co-District Superintendent of the East Ohio District of the Church of the Nazarene, having served in this role since November 1, 2011. Dr Sunberg was elected the 43rd General Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene on the 11th ballot by the delegates of the 29th General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene on June 27, 2017. Sunberg is the only daughter of Jerald Johnson, the 24th General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.
