Joan-Patricia Parris, sometimes credited as Jo Pat Parris, is a Canadian make-up artist. She is most noted for her work on the 2020 film Blood Quantum , for which she won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Makeup at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards [1] and the Prix Iris for Best Makeup at the 22nd (B) Quebec Cinema Awards [2] in 2021.
She was also previously a Jutra/Iris nominee for 5150 Elm's Way (5150, rue des ormes) at the 12th Jutra Awards in 2010, [3] for Vital Signs (Les signes vitaux) at the 13th Jutra Awards in 2011, [4] and for Death Dive (Le Scaphandrier) at the 18th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2016. [5]
The Prix Iris is a Canadian film award, presented annually by Québec Cinéma, which recognizes talent and achievement in the mainly francophone feature film industry in Quebec. Until 2016, it was known as the Jutra Award in memory of influential Quebec film director Claude Jutra, but Jutra's name was withdrawn from the awards following the publication of Yves Lever's biography of Jutra, which alleged that he had sexually abused children.

He is most noted for his work on the 2017 film Ravenous , for which he won both the Canadian Screen Award for Best Makeup at the 6th Canadian Screen Awards and the Prix Iris for Best Makeup at the 20th Quebec Cinema Awards in 2018, and the 2020 film Blood Quantum, for which he won both of the same awards at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards and the 22nd (B) Quebec Cinema Awards in 2021.
Jean-Michel Rossignol is a Canadian special effects makeup artist. He is most noted for his work on the 2020 film Blood Quantum, for which he was a winner alongside Erik Gosselin, Joan-Patricia Parris and Nancy Ferlatte of the Canadian Screen Award for Best Makeup at the 9th Canadian Screen Awards in 2021; however, due to different inclusion rules around special effects makeup, he was not a nominee for the Prix Iris for Best Makeup at the 22nd (B) Quebec Cinema Awards despite that award also having been won by Gosselin, Parris and Ferlatte.
