Joan Kennedy (born in Douglas Harbour, New Brunswick, Canada) is a country music singer. She came to fame after winning the Canadian National Talent Contest in 1983 and issued her first album, I'm a Big Girl Now, the following year in 1984. After two more albums in 1985 and 1987, she signed with MCA Records and issued two albums, 1990's Candle in the Window and 1992's Higher Ground . In 2000, Kennedy released A Dozen Red Roses, a greatest hits album. During the early 1990s, she had her own syndicated weekly television show in Canada. She now resides in Portland, Maine.[ citation needed ]

Roberta Joan "Joni" Mitchell is a Canadian-American singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and painter. As one of the most influential singer-songwriters to emerge from the 1960s folk music circuit, Mitchell became known for her personal lyrics and unconventional compositions which grew to incorporate pop and jazz elements. She has received many accolades, including eleven Grammy Awards and induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997. "Safe in the Arms of Love" is a country music song written by Mary Ann Kennedy, Pam Rose and Pat Bunch in 1986. The song was originally recorded by the American country music band Wild Choir. It was issued on their self-titled debut album in 1986 and was also released as the project's lead single. The song failed to chart. A music video, directed by David Hogan, was shot for the band's version and was scheduled to be broadcast on MTV, but due to a program change, never aired.
The Demos is the second studio album by Canadian country artist Jess Moskaluke. It was released on February 19, 2021, through MDM Recordings.
