The Fermanagh County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Fermanagh GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland and is responsible for the administration of Gaelic games in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.
Dublin City University Gaelic Athletic Association Club is the GAA club at Dublin City University. The club fields teams in men's Gaelic football, hurling, ladies' Gaelic football and camogie. It also organises Gaelic handball. The club mainly competes in intervarsity competitions such as the Sigerson Cup, the Fitzgibbon Cup, the O'Connor Cup and the Ashbourne Cup. DCU has also entered competitions organised by the Leinster GAA, including the O'Byrne Cup, the Kehoe Cup and Walsh Cup. In 2016 St. Patrick's College, Drumcondra merged with Dublin City University. As a result some DCU GAA teams, especially reserve teams, compete as DCU St Patrick's or DCU Dóchas Éireann.
Trillick St Macartan's is a Gaelic Athletic Association club based in the parish of Trillick in western County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. It competes at Senior level in Tyrone GAA competitions. The club plays Gaelic football, ladies' Gaelic football and camogie.
Shannon McFerran is an Australian rules football player in the Victorian Women's Football League. She currently plays at St Kilda Sharks women's football team.
Cora Staunton is an Irish sportswoman. She is best known as a ladies' Gaelic footballer, winning four All-Irelands and three Ladies' National Football League titles with Mayo. She has also been an All Star on eleven occasions. In addition to playing Gaelic football, Staunton has also played three other football codes at a senior level. In 2006, as an association footballer, she won an FAI Women's Cup winner's medal with the Mayo Ladies' League representative team. In 2013, she began playing rugby union for Castlebar Ladies in the Connacht Women's League. In she 2018 made her Australian rules football debut in the AFLW competition for the Greater Western Sydney Giants, establishing herself by 2022 as one of the league's all-time great goalkickers. She has also played for the Ireland women's international rules football team. Staunton works as a HSE liaison officer, working with women from the Irish Travellers community.
Matilda Lucas-Rodd is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Hawthorn Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). They previously played for the Carlton Football Club from 2017 to 2019 and the St Kilda Football Club from 2020 to 2022. They were the inaugural Hawthorn best and fairest winner, and have served as Hawthorn captain since season seven.
Meg Hutchins is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW).
Christina Bernardi is an Australian rules footballer who plays for the Carlton Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Bernadi was drafted by Collingwood in 2017 and was selected in the 2018 AFL Women's All-Australian team and was Collingwood's leading goalkicker in 2018.
Lauren Tesoriero is a retired Australian rules footballer who played for the Richmond Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). She previously played 11 matches over a two-year tenure with Collingwood.
Georgia Gee is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Essendon Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Gee was drafted by Carlton with their first selection and twelfth overall in the 2017 AFL Women's draft. She made her debut in the eight-point win against Collingwood at Ikon Park in the opening round of the 2018 season. In April 2022, it was confirmed Gee had committed to Essendon Football Club, commencing in AFL Women's season seven. Her grandfather, Brian Shinners, played VFL/AFL football with Richmond and Hawthorn in the 1960s and '70s.
Caroline O'Hanlon is a Northern Ireland netball international and an Armagh ladies' Gaelic footballer. She has also represented Ireland at international rules. She was a member of the Northern Ireland teams at the 2003, 2011 and 2019 Netball World Cups and at the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. She was also a member of the Northern Ireland teams that were silver medallists at the 2012 and 2017 European Netball Championships. She captained Northern Ireland at both the 2018 Commonwealth Games and at the 2019 Netball World Cup. She carried the flag of Northern Ireland during the 2018 Commonwealth Games opening ceremony. She has played in the Netball Superleague for Team Northumbria, UWS Sirens and Manchester Thunder. She was a member of the Manchester Thunder team that won the 2019 Netball Superleague. As a Ladies' Gaelic footballer she played for Armagh in the 2006 All-Ireland final. She has also been an All Star on three occasions and was named as the 2014 TG4 Senior Player's Player of the Year. In 2010 she was named Northern Ireland Sportswoman of the Year.
Ailish Considine is an Irish-born Australian rules footballer who played for the Adelaide Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). Considine was drafted by Adelaide as a rookie signing after previously playing gaelic football and camogie for County Clare in Ireland. She made her debut in the one point loss to the Western Bulldogs at Norwood Oval in the opening round of the 2019 season. She was the first Irish female to become a Premiership Player with the Adelaide Crows in 2019 when they defeated Carlton in the ALFW Grand Final at a full capacity Adelaide Oval. In December 2022, Adelaide delisted Considine after she was on the injury list all of AFL Women's season seven.
Sarah Rowe is a triple code sportswoman who plays association football for Women's National League club Bohemians. She is a former Republic of Ireland women's association football international. In addition to association football, Rowe has also played two other football codes at a senior level. She has played ladies' Gaelic football for Mayo and women's Australian rules football for Collingwood in the AFLW. At club level, Rowe has also played association football for Castlebar Celtic, Raheny United and Shelbourne in the Women's National League and for Melbourne Victory in the A-League Women. Rowe was a member of the Republic of Ireland U19 team that won their group at the 2014 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship and qualified for the semi-finals. In 2016, she was also a member of the Shelbourne Ladies team that won a Women's National League/FAI Women's Cup double.
Jessica 'Jess' Edwards is an Australian rules footballer playing for Carlton in the AFL Women's (AFLW).
Tyla Hanks is an Australian rules footballer playing for Melbourne in the AFL Women's (AFLW). An inside midfielder, she played junior football in the TAC Cup Girls and VFL Women's, and competed at four AFL Women's Under 18 Championships. Hanks was recruited by Melbourne with pick 6 in the 2018 AFLW draft and debuted in the opening round of the 2019 season.
Neamh Woods is a Northern Ireland netball international and a Tyrone Ladies' Gaelic footballer. She was a member of the Northern Ireland teams at the 2018 Commonwealth Games and the 2019 Netball World Cup. As a Ladies' Gaelic footballer she played for Tyrone in the 2010 All-Ireland final. She captained Tyrone when they won the 2018 All-Ireland Intermediate Ladies' Football Championship. She was an All Star in 2008 and 2018 and was the 2018 TG4 Intermediate Player's Player of the Year.
Aishling Sheridan is an Irish sportswoman who plays Australian rules football for the Collingwood Football Club in the AFL Women's (AFLW). She has also played ladies' Gaelic football for Cavan in the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) and Australian rules football for NT Thunder in the VFL Women's (VFLW).
Clara Fitzpatrick is a dual-code international footballer currently playing in the AFL Women's (AFLW) for the Gold Coast. She has previously played for St Kilda.
The Fermanagh county football team represents Fermanagh GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association, in the Gaelic sport of football.
