Joanne Duffy is a Paralympic medalist from New Zealand who competed in alpine skiing. She competed in the 1994 Winter Paralympics where she won a gold medal in downhill and a bronze in Super-G. [1] [2]

Eleanor May Simmonds, OBE is a British former Paralympian swimmer who competed in S6 events. She came to national attention when she competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, winning two gold medals for Great Britain. She was the youngest member of the team, at the age of 13. In 2012, she was again selected for the Great Britain squad, this time swimming at a home games in London. She won another two golds in London, including setting a World Record in the 400m freestyle, and a further gold medal at the Rio Paralympics in 2016, this time setting a world record for the 200m medley.

She received a Medal of the Order of Australia for her 2000 gold medal. She competed but did not win any medals at the 2004 Athens Games.

He also competed in the 2002 Winter Paralympics in Salt Lake City where he won a bronze medal in the Downhill and Super G and a gold medal in the Giant Slalom. Steven grew up on the family farm near birdlings flat and as a child was interested in many activities, such as kayaking, cycling, biking, fishing and of course skiing. Unfortunately around the age of 25, Bayley was in a car crash that resulted in the need for leg amputation. He was told that they could find no way for them to put his original leg back on, so he now wears prosthetic legs.
