Joseph Campbell Jr. (born December 28, 1966) is a former American football defensive end. He played for the San Diego Chargers in 1988-1989. [1] [2] He was drafted by the Chargers in the fourth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. [3]

He played college football for the NC State Wolfpack and was selected fourth overall in the 2004 NFL draft by the New York Giants, who traded him to the San Diego Chargers during the draft. Rivers was a member of the Chargers for 16 seasons and played his final season for the Indianapolis Colts. Since 2021, he has served as the head football coach at St. Michael Catholic High School.
