Joseph Michael Cook (born April 7, 1985) is a professional basketball coach, formerly Associate head coach for San-en NeoPhoenix in Japan and a former college basketball assistant coach for Cabrillo College. [1] [2] [3] Joe Cook also served for the Sacramento Kings of the NBA as the Head Video Coordinator [4] [5] and Akita Northern Happinets as Assistant Coach for three seasons. He has brought the NBA-style sets and styles of play to Akita. [6]

Robert W. Hill is an American basketball coach. Hill grew up in Mount Sterling, Ohio, moving to Worthington, Ohio, for high school. Hill attended Bowling Green State University.
Paul William Westhead is an American former basketball coach. He was the head coach for three National Basketball Association (NBA) teams and an assistant for four others, and also coached in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), American Basketball Association (ABA), and Japan Basketball League (JBL). In his first year as an NBA head coach, he led a rookie Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers to the 1980 NBA Finals, which they won in six games for the team's first title in eight years. Westhead won titles in both the NBA and WNBA, and he is also remembered as the coach of the Loyola Marymount University (LMU) men's basketball team. Westhead is known for an unorthodox, run-and-gun style called "The System." He was nicknamed "The Professor" due to his former career as an English teacher prior to coaching and his tendency to quote Shakespeare and other literary sources while coaching. He attended Saint Joseph's University.
Reggie Elliot Geary is an American former professional basketball guard for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers (1996–97) and San Antonio Spurs (1997–98). Since 2011 he has coached several teams in Japan's professional basketball leagues.

The Akita Northern Happinets are a Japanese professional basketball team based in Akita that competes in the Eastern Conference of the First Division of the B.League. The team was formed as an expansion team of the bj league in 2010 and found success for the first time in 2013–14, finishing their fourth season as league runners-up. They went on to finish as runners-up for the second year in a row in 2014–15 and in third place in 2015–16, the final season of the bj league.
Justin Lee Watts is an American professional basketball player who last played for Chernomorets Burgas of the Bulgarian National Basketball League. He played college basketball for the University of North Carolina, where he won an NCAA Championship as a freshman in 2009. Anthony Joseph Coleman is an American former professional basketball player and current assistant coach for the University of Colorado Boulder. He played professionally for the Akita Northern Happinets of the Japanese bj league. On November 11, 2010, he set his career high in points in a Japanese bj League game. That day he scored 14 points in Akita Northern Happinets's home loss against Tokyo Apache, 87–99.
