Joel Alme (born 1980) is a musician and artist from Gothenburg, Sweden. Alme released his debut album A Master of Ceremonies on 22 April 2008 with "Queen's Corner" being the single. In 2010 he released his second studio album, called Waiting for the Bells. [1] [2] He is the former lead singer for Spring in Paris. [3]

When Alme received grant money from the Swedish Arts Council (Kulturrådet) for his second album Waiting for the Bells. Regarding the grant money, Alme stated that "it enabled me to use a real strings orchestra and I could spend more time in a very good studio with a good producer, Mattias Glavå." [4]

In 2009, Alme altered the lyrics to his song "A Young Summer's Youth" and produced the song "Snart skiner Poseidon" to be played before and after all IFK Göteborg's home matches where it is performed by a massed chorus of supporters.

In 2015, Alme released Flyktligan – his first album in Swedish. Most of the songs on that album are about his background and upbringing. [5]

Jireel Lavia Pereira, born 29 March 2000 in Angola, is a Swedish rapper best known under his artist name Jireel. In 2017, he released his debut EP Jettad. In 2018, he released his debut studio album, 18, for which he won a Grammis award in the category "Hip Hop/Soul of the Year" in 2019. It was Jireel's second Grammis award, after receiving the award for "New Artist of the Year" in 2018. On 5 June 2020, Jireel released his second studio album, Sex känslor. It contains the previously released singles "För evigt", "Gav allt", "Relationer" and "Chérie". The album peaked at number five on the Swedish Albums Chart. Jireel went to Gubbängsskolan and performed there some years after he left it.

Daniela Sörensen, better known by her stage name Daniela Rathana, is a Swedish pop singer. She was born and grew up in Akalla and was a backup singer for Sabina Ddumba, Kent, Zara Larsson and Seinabo Sey before embarking on a solo career. In 2020, she released her debut EP, Halva vägen fri. In February 2021, she released the song "Testamente", a duet with Oskar Linnros. Her debut album is set for release in 2021 via Linnros' label Dundra; it will include the singles "Ansikte" and "Testamente". Her 2022 single "Vandraren" is inspired by Basshunter and Crazy Frog.
