Jose A. "Joey" Romasanta (born August 26, 1944) [1] was the 11th president of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), the country's highest olympic body. He is also the president of Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas, Inc. (LVPI), the official NSA for Volleyball in the Philippines that is currently recognized by the POC, Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the Philippine Karatedo Federation (PKF-NSA), the official NSA for karatedo.

Aside from that, he was also appointed as part of the 20-man board of AVC representing the Southeastern Asia area and the current member of the executive committee of the SEA Games Federation. [2]

He was also the Chef-De-Mission for the Filipino delegation of athletes in the 2016 Summer Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in 2016. [3]

Romasanta was president of the Amateur Softball Association of the Philippines (ASAP) and the Philippine Karatedo Federation (PKF) (resigned March 2015), team manager of the Luisita Golf team, Vice President for Corporate Affairs of the José Cojuangco & Sons Group of Companies and the Executive Director of Project Gintong Alay during post-EDSA revolution years (1987-1990). Victorico L. Chaves, also known as "Concoy" was a Filipino sportsman and politician. He served as an assistant majority floor leader and representative of the 2nd district of Misamis Oriental for three consecutive terms and also served as the president of the Philippine Amateur Volleyball Association from 1986 to 1995. He is also a co-author of a house bill seeking for the creation of the Philippine Sports Commission enacted into law in 1990.

Ricky Vargas

Victorico "Ricky" P. Vargas is a Filipino executive who served as the 10th President of the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) from March 5, 2018 after winning over Jose Cojuangco Jr. in a court-ordered elections held on February 23, 2018 until his resignation on June 18, 2019.

In November 2016, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) held an elections which saw Jose "Peping" Cojuangco win a fourth term as president unopposed after Victorico "Ricky" Vargas was disqualified for not being an "active member" of the committee. Tolentino, a candidate for the chairman position was also disqualified under the same grounds.

Karate Pilipinas Sports Federation, Inc. is the local governing body for the sport of Karate in the Philippines. KP was formed in early 2018, and subsequently recognized by the World Karate Federation as a temporary member in July 2018, potentially replacing the embattled NSA for Karate, the Philippine Karatedo Federation–N.S.A., Inc. (PKF-NSA), which was withdrawn in April 2018 from WKF due to alleged malversation of training allowance of athletes competed in the 2017 Southeast Asian Games. KP is also recognized by the Asian Karatedo Federation.

Philippine National Volleyball Federation

The Philippine National Volleyball Federation Inc. (PNVF), also known as Volleyball Philippines, is the national sport association for volleyball in the Philippines. It is recognized by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).
