Johan Ernst Nilson (born 4 August 1969 is a Swedish explorer, known as an "environmental explorer" because of his interest in environment and climate-related issues.
Nilson was born in Stockholm, Sweden. He has completed 28 expeditions, visiting around 100 countries.[ citation needed ] He also gives lectures about motivation and environmental awareness.
After participating in some film work with the Polar Research Team, Nilson began collaborating with Respect Climate. In 2008 he finished his project "Seven Summits Climate Neutral". After the first Climate Neutral Everest expedition, Nilson was elected Swedish President of the Everest Summiteers Association (ESA), and a member of The Explorers Club.
He received the Medal of Honour from the Swedish Church in 1996. He is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. [1]
In 2018, Nurali Aliyev announced that Nilson would be the new Ambassador of the Snow Leopard Foundation based in Kazakhstan, representing the interests of the foundation overseas. [2] [3]
Nilson has completed exhibitions in Africa and Antarctica, as well as to the mountains Denali (1995), Kilimanjaro (2003), Mount Elbrus (2004, 2008), Aconcagua (2005, 2006), Carstensz Pyramid (2006), Mount Everest (2007), Mont Blanc (2006, 2007), Mount Vinson (2008), Mount Kusciuskzo (2006), Shishapangma (1997), Mount Kinabalu (2000), and Heidi Hill Nunavut (1999). His mixed expeditions include the Alaska Walkabout Expedition (1995), Jetski over the Atlantic (2002), Machu Picchu (2005), the Arctic Dogsled Race (1999), and a Borneo Photo Expedition (2000).
In January 2012, Nilson achieved a Guinness Record title for his Three Poles Challenge expedition. [4]

Ang Rita Sherpa was a Nepalese mountaineer who climbed Mount Everest ten times without using supplemental oxygen between 1983 and 1996. His sixth climb set the world record for the most successful ascents of Mount Everest, which he re-set on his tenth climb. Although others have since summitted Everest more, he still holds the record for most summits without supplemental oxygen. He was also the first, and to date only, person to climb Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen in winter. He was nicknamed the "Snow Leopard" by his peers.

Major Hari Pal Singh Ahluwalia was an Indian mountaineer, author, social worker and Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS) officer. During his career he made contributions in the fields of adventure, sports, environment, disability and social work. He is one of six Indian men and the twenty first man in the world to climb Mount Everest. On 29 May 1965, 12 years to the day from the first ascent of Mount Everest, he made the summit with the fourth and final successful attempt of the 1965 Indian Everest Expedition along with H. C. S. Rawat and Phu Dorjee Sherpa. This was the first time three climbers stood on the summit together.
Ajeet Bajaj is the first Indian to ski to the North Pole and complete the polar trilogy which entails skiing to the North Pole, South Pole and across the Greenland icecap. Bajaj and his daughter Deeya Bajaj were the first Indian father daughter team to climb Mt. Everest. He completed the Explorer's Grand Slam on 05 June 2022 while completing the Seven Summits with his daughter Deeya.
Pat Falvey is an Irish high-altitude mountaineer, expedition leader, polar explorer, entrepreneur, author, corporate/personal trainer/coach, and motivational speaker. He was the first person to complete the Seven Summits (Bass) twice, with the summiting of Mount Everest reached from both the Tibetan (1996) and Nepalese sides (2004). He was expedition leader of the team that saw Clare O'Leary become the first Irish woman to reach the summit of Mount Everest (2004). Other extreme expeditions that he has made include walking to the South Pole, crossing South Georgia Island, and traversing the Greenland ice cap. He started his first business at 15 years of age and has since had businesses in property development, finance, construction, insurance, tourism, and film production. The Geneva Spur, named Eperon des Genevois and has also been called the Saddle Rib is a geological feature on Mount Everest—it is a large rock buttress near the summits of Everest and Lhotse. The Geneva spur is above Camp III and the Yellow Band, but before Camp IV and South Col. It is a spur near the south col. A related formation is the saddle between the peaks of Mount Everest and Lhotse.

With the Foundation and its private partners, he built and financed the construction of the scientific research station ‘Princess Elisabeth’. This station is the first ‘Zero Emissions’ station in Antarctica, designed under the spirit of the Madrid protocol system establishing in 1992 the strictest environmental rules to date for a continent through the Antarctic Treaty System.
Valery Nikolaevich Khrichtchatyi was a Kazakh mountaineer. He made more than forty ascents above 7,000 meters, including a string of hard winter firsts in the Pamirs and Tien Shan. He climbed Everest by a new south pillar route, Kanchenjunga without oxygen and with only one bivouac, and a new route on the west side of Dhaulagiri.
