The Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) is a rail trail system in Maryland and Pennsylvania—the central trail of a network of long-distance hiker-biker trails throughout the Allegheny region of the Appalachian Mountains, connecting Washington, D.C. to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It consists of several smaller trails including the Allegheny Highlands Trail of Maryland, the Allegheny Highlands Trail of Pennsylvania and the Youghiogheny River Trail.

A trestle bridge is a bridge composed of a number of short spans supported by such frames. Each supporting frame is a bent. Timber and iron trestles were extensively used in the 19th century, the former making up from 1 to 3 per cent of the total length of the average railroad. In the 21st century, steel and sometimes concrete trestles are commonly used to bridge particularly deep valleys while timber trestles remain common in certain areas.

Trestles consists of, from north to south, Upper Trestles (Uppers), Lower Trestles (Lowers), and Middle Trestles (Middles). North of Upper Trestles is the surf spot called Cottons. South of Middles is the surf spot called The Church. It is named after Trestles Bridge, a wooden trestle bridge that surfers must walk under to reach the beach, replaced in 2012 by a concrete viaduct.

The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail is a 23.7-mile (38.1 km) rail trail and linear park that runs along the former Wallkill Valley Railroad rail corridor in Ulster County, New York. It stretches from Gardiner through New Paltz, Rosendale, and Ulster to the Kingston city line. The trail is separated from the Walden–Wallkill Rail Trail by two state prisons in Shawangunk, though there have been plans to bypass these facilities, and to connect the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail with other regional rail trails. The northern section of the trail forms part of the proposed Empire State Trail.
Boardman’s Drainage Windmill is located at How Hill in the English county of Norfolk It is on the east bank of the River Ant close to the large Edwardian building houses the Norfolk Broads Study Centre. The Drainage mill is 1½ miles west of the village of Ludham. The structure is a grade II* listed building.

Bracut is an unincorporated community in Humboldt County, California. It is located on the Northwestern Pacific Railroad 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Arcata, at an elevation of 16 feet. The name originated as a contraction of the railway cut through Brainard hill in the Humboldt Bay salt marsh. Railway trestle work originally connected the hill south to Eureka and north to Arcata. Much of the hill was subsequently excavated to provide fill to replace the original trestle work; and the railway fill prism became a dike encouraging conversion of the inland salt marsh to pasture land. The leveled hill is now the site of several large structures remaining from previous lumber operations, a District 1 CalTrans yard, and a KOA campground.
High Trestle Trail is a rail trail running from Ankeny to Woodward in central Iowa. The recreation trail opened on April 30, 2011. It is a paved recreational trail that runs through the Polk, Story, Boone, and Dallas counties. The trail's name is derived from a former 1913 bridge that spanned the Des Moines River between the towns of Madrid and Woodward.

The Rosendale Trestle is a 940-foot (290-meter) continuous truss bridge and former railroad trestle in Rosendale Village, a hamlet in the town of Rosendale in Ulster County, New York. Originally constructed by the Wallkill Valley Railroad to continue its rail line from New Paltz to Kingston, the bridge rises 150 ft (46 m) above Rondout Creek, spanning both Route 213 and the former Delaware and Hudson Canal. Construction on the trestle began in late 1870, and continued until early 1872. When it opened to rail traffic on April 6, 1872, the Rosendale trestle was the highest span bridge in the United States.
The Olympic Discovery Trail is a designated non-motorized, multi-use trail spanning the north end of the Olympic Peninsula in Washington. The route spans around 140 miles between Port Townsend, Washington and La Push, Washington. As of August 2017, 80 miles of this trail are complete and additional miles under construction. The remainder of the route can be ridden using a combination of public roads.

He is a multiple-time Slovak swimming champion and record holder in the 100 and 200 m breaststroke, and also, a two-time Swimmer of the Year by the Slovak Swimming Federation. Klobucnik is also a resident athlete for J&T Sport Team Bratislava, and is coached and trained by Gabriel Baran.
The Three Creeks Trail is a 0.9-mile (1.4 km) pedestrian and bicycle trail that runs through the Willow Glen neighborhood in San Jose, California, from Los Gatos Creek by Lonus Street to the Guadalupe River, as the western alignment. The western section of the trail has been paved since late 2018. An eastern alignment is planned, but not funded, to extend the trail to the Coyote Creek Trail.
