John-Paul Giovanni Philippe Rochford (born 5 January 2000) is a Trinidadian professional footballer currently playing as a midfielder for AC Port of Spain.

Club career

Rochford signed a two-year deal with Guatemalan side Antigua GFC in February 2021. [3]

In 2022, Rochford played for American club Sure Sport FC. [4] In 2023, he moved home to Trinidad and Tobago and joined AC Port of Spain. [5]

Personal life

His brother, Jean-Luc, is a former footballer that represented Trinidad and Tobago at the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup and 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, scoring once in the latter tournament . [3] [6]

    The CONCACAF final round of the CONCACAF zone of the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualification, was contested between the six remaining teams of the qualification process. The teams were placed into a single group, with matches played against each other on a home-and-away basis. The top three teams would qualify for the 2002 FIFA World Cup.     The 2009 CONCACAF U-20 Championship was the biannual CONCACAF youth championship tournament for under-20 national teams. The 2009 edition was held in Trinidad and Tobago. All matches were played at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago and Marvin Lee Stadium in Macoya, Trinidad. The CONCACAF U-20 Championship traditionally serves as the CONCACAF qualifier for the FIFA U-20 World Cup, and under the 2009 tournament format the four semifinalists qualified for the 2009 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which was hosted by Egypt from 25 September to 16 October 2009.

    In the fourth round of the CONCACAF 2006 World Cup qualification, the six remaining teams from the third round were put in a single group, and played against each other home-and-away. The three teams with most points qualified for the 2006 FIFA World Cup. The fourth-placed team, Trinidad and Tobago, advanced to the AFC-CONCACAF playoff against the winner of the fourth round of Asia, Bahrain.
