John Conley (born October 22, 1950) is a former American football tight end in the World Football League for the Southern California Sun. He played college football at the University of Hawaii.

Early years

Conley attended Savanna High School. [1] He enrolled at Fullerton Junior College, where he played for two seasons. [2] He transferred to the University of California, Berkeley after his sophomore season. [3] He transferred to the University of Hawaii before the start of his senior season. [4]

Professional career

Conley was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 16th round (410th overall) of the 1973 NFL Draft. [5] He was waived before the start of the season in August.

On July 21, 1974, he signed with the Southern California Sun of the World Football League, to replace a suspended Jacque MacKinnon at tight end. [6] He was used mostly for blocking, before being released on August 8. [7]

Christopher Joseph Scelfo is an American football coach. He was most recently the offensive line coach for the DC Defenders of the XFL. He was the offensive line coach and run-game coordinator for the Arizona Hotshots of the Alliance of American Football, having previously served in a similar position with the Houston Cougars and Charlotte 49ers. He previously served as the tight ends coach for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL). Charles John Bradley was an American football tight end who played three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears. He was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 1973 NFL Draft as a guard and center, but never played for the Dolphins. He was injured during the 1973 preseason and placed on injured reserve, and then waived by the Dolphins before the 1974 season. He played college football at the University of Oregon and attended Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, California. Bradley was also a member of the Southern California Sun of the World Football League. Bradley died five days before his 72nd birthday on October 8, 2022.

Kenneth Alan Lee is a former American football linebacker who played two seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Detroit Lions and Buffalo Bills, one season for in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Toronto Argonauts, and two final seasons for the Southern California Sun of the World Football League (WFL).
