John Dougary was a Scottish football player and manager.
Dougary, an outside-left, was the son of one of the founders of Cowdenbeath football club. He played for Lochgelly Amateurs and Moray House (where he trained to become a teacher) and for English side Stoke City during the First World War.
After the war, he worked as a teacher and began running schoolboy football matches. In 1934 he took over as manager of Cowdenbeath, but resigned in 1938 due to his teaching commitments. The following year Cowdenbeath won the Scottish Second Division title, with a team largely put together by Dougary.
Dougary worked as a part-time scout for Liverpool, discovering Billy Liddell for the Anfield side. In 1951 he quit teaching to become manager of Welsh side Rhyl. In his first two seasons with Rhyl, they won the Welsh Cup.
In 1955, he returned to Scotland to manage Cowdenbeath again, but in 1958 resigned as manager due to health reasons and took a post of secretary-director of the club. He left this post acrimoniously in the summer of 1961.
Dougary died in 1970.

Cowdenbeath Football Club is a Scottish semi-professional football team based in Cowdenbeath, Fife. They are members of the Lowland Football League, the fifth tier of the Scottish football league system after their relegation from Scottish League Two on 14 May 2022 following a 4–0 aggregate defeat to Bonnyrigg Rose. Formed in 1881, the club has played at Central Park since 1917. They first joined the Scottish Football League (SFL) in 1905. The club has never won any of the major honours in Scottish football, but have won lower tier divisional titles on five occasions. They competed in the top division of the SFL from 1924 to 1934, but have only completed one further top flight season since, in 1970–71.
Adam Scott Mathieson Duncan was a Scottish football player and manager, who played as an outside right. He made over 100 appearances for Rangers, played in England for Newcastle United, winning the Football League title in 1908–09. He also had three spells with Dumbarton, and played for Cowdenbeath and guested for Celtic. As a manager, he led Hamilton Academical and Cowdenbeath before going to England, where he managed Manchester United and then Ipswich Town, the latter for 18 years.
James Michael Nicholl is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played for several clubs, including Manchester United and Rangers. He was mainly a right-back but could also play in other defensive roles. Nicholl won a total of 73 international caps for Northern Ireland, scoring one goal.
Gary Bollan is a Scottish professional football player and coach.
William Esplin Ormond was a Scottish football player and manager. As a player, Ormond was well known as one of Hibernian's Famous Five forward line, winning three league championships in the late 1940s and early 1950s. After a successful spell managing St Johnstone he led Scotland to the 1974 World Cup finals. Scotland were unbeaten at that World Cup, but were eliminated on goal difference.

Richard Menzies Campbell is a Scottish football manager and former player, who is currently manager of Arbroath.
Brian Welsh is a Scottish football coach and former player, who is currently owner and head coach of American club Northern Virginia United. He began his playing career with Dundee United, where he made 140 league appearances and was part of the team that won the 1994 Scottish Cup Final. He joined Hibernian in 1996, where he spent three years, before ending his career with brief spells at Stenhousemuir, Clydebank and Cowdenbeath. He also represented the Scotland under-19 team.
William Henry Lucas was a Welsh international football player in the late 1940s and 1950s. During his career, Lucas made over 400 appearances in The Football League during spells with Swindon Town, Swansea Town and Newport County and attained seven caps for Wales as well as eight wartime caps. After his retirement from playing, he went on to manage two of his former clubs, Newport County and Swansea Town.
William McCandless was an Irish international football player and manager. As a player McCandless normally played at left-back, most notably at Rangers where he won six Scottish Football League titles with the side. Following his retirement from playing he went into management, enjoying most success with Welsh sides Newport County, Cardiff City and Swansea Town, taking all three sides to the Division Three South title.
John Brownlie is a Scottish former football player and coach, currently assistant manager of East Stirlingshire.
Derek Michael Brazil is an Irish former professional footballer. During his career he made over 200 appearances in the Football League and represented Republic of Ireland at youth and B levels. After being spotted playing football in his home country, Brazil joined the youth system at Manchester United, making two league appearances for the first-team, and later captained the club's reserve side.

George Whyte was a Scottish professional footballer who scored 49 goals from 372 appearances in the Football League playing for Accrington Stanley and Lincoln City. He also played in the Scottish Football League for Dunfermline Athletic, for Rhyl Athletic in Wales, and for English non-league club Gainsborough Trinity. He played as a left half or outside left.
