John J. Presley is a British musician from Walsall, England. [1]
Having moved to London in 2013 Presley met Chris Denman of Radio X (formerly XFM) who recorded his debut single Left and the follow up Honeybee released on Killing Moon Records. [2] [3] Support came from BBC Radio 1's Evening Show with Zane Lowe and from Phil Taggart, Alice Levine, John Kennedy, Radio X, Amazing Radio and Tom Robinson of BBC 6 Music [4] leading Presley was invited to perform on the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festival 2014 [5] as well as Boardmasters, Live At Leeds, Truck, 2000 Trees and others that summer. [6]
Presley supported The Jim Jones Revue throughout Europe and the UK culminating in the final show at the O2 Forum Kentish Town. [7]
For his next release, the EP White Ink, Presley worked at Toe Rag Studios (White Stripes, The Kills) with Liam Watson. [8] The recording was direct to tape and a studio that Presley said he always wanted to work in. White Ink was released on July 24, 2015, via Vital Music Group. [9] It received a positive reaction prompting Laura Barton of The Guardian to write "..[his] music’s shape and sound do seem to sit midway between the blues of the Mississippi Delta and the beautiful enormity of my favourite post-rock geniuses. It’s a ferocious, belly-deep sound, but somehow tender with it." [10]
During these years Presley had also met fellow musicians Duke Garwood, Ed Harcourt and Smoke Fairies for whom Presley has performed guitar and bass duties live including support roles for Seasick Steve, and Mark Lanegan. [11]
Presley's debut album came in 2019, having signed publishing with BMG As The Night Draws In was released on his own label Nica Recordings and distributed by AWAL (Kobalt). [12] In support of the album's release he toured the UK supporting Blood Red Shoes [13] and Smoke Fairies. [14]
Choking Victim was an American punk band formed in New York City, which lasted from 1992 to 1998. They played a mix of hardcore punk and ska. Following the breakup of the band, which occurred the same day as the recording of their only studio album No Gods, No Managers, members went on to form Leftöver Crack and INDK, among others.
Richard Willis Hawley is an English singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer. After his first band Treebound Story broke up, Hawley found success as a member of Britpop band Longpigs in the 1990s. After that group broke up in 2000, he later joined the band Pulp, led by his friend Jarvis Cocker, for a short time. As a solo musician, Hawley has released eight studio albums. He has been nominated for a Mercury prize twice and once for a Brit Award. Black Stone Cherry is an American rock band, formed in 2001 in Edmonton, Kentucky. They were signed to Roadrunner Records until 2015; the band is now signed to Mascot Label Group. The band consists of Chris Robertson, Ben Wells, Steve Jewell and John Fred Young. Black Stone Cherry has released seven studio albums as well as two EPs, and have charted seventeen singles on the US Mainstream Rock Tracks charts. Their latest album, The Human Condition, was released in 2020.

Seekae was a Sydney-based electronic music group. They formed the group under the name Commander Keen in reference to the mid-'90s PC DOS video game series, later changing the name to an elongated version of Commander Keen's initials (CK) after realising the name was taken by a Scottish band. They released their debut album The Sound of Trees Falling on People in 2008 and released the follow-up +Dome in 2011 and the EP 3 in 2012. The band released their third album The Worry in September 2014. The group parted ways in 2016, following a final show supporting The Jesus and Mary Chain.

Vant are a British indie rock band formed in 2014 by frontman and songwriter Mattie Vant. In 2015, Vant signed to Parlophone Records. The band announced an "indefinite hiatus" in 2017 to take effect at the end of their Last Days of Punk tour during November. The band released a new song, "Propaganda Machine" in December 2018 and teased new music in 2019.
Julia Jacklin is an Australian singer-songwriter from the Blue Mountains. Jacklin's musical style has been described as indie pop, indie folk, and alternative country. She has released three studio albums, Don't Let the Kids Win (2016), Crushing (2019) and Pre Pleasure (2022). Jacklin has also performed with the band Phantastic Ferniture, with whom she released the debut single "Fuckin 'n' Rollin" and a self-titled album in 2018, followed by subsequent singles.
