John Leslie Evans (born 12 July 1941) was a Liberal party member of the House of Commons of Canada. He was a professor and economist by career.
Born in Seattle, Washington, United States, he represented the Ottawa Centre electoral district in the city of Ottawa, Ontario which he first won in the 1979 federal election. He was re-elected there in 1980, but defeated in the 1984 election. Evans left federal politics after serving in the 31st and 32nd Canadian Parliaments.

Joseph Jean-Pierre Marc Garneau is a retired Canadian Member of Parliament, retired Royal Canadian Navy officer and former astronaut who served as a Cabinet minister from 2015 to 2021. A member of the Liberal Party, Garneau was the minister of foreign affairs from January to October 2021 and minister of transport from November 2015 to January 2021. He was an MP in Westmount, Montreal for 15 years.
John Edward "Ed" Broadbent is a Canadian social-democratic politician, political scientist, and chair of the Broadbent Institute, a policy think tank. Royal Galipeau was a Canadian politician who was Member of Parliament for the Ottawa—Orléans federal constituency. He was first elected as a Conservative Party candidate in the 2006 election, and was reelected in 2008 and 2011. He was one of the Deputy Speakers of the House of Commons between the 2006 and 2008 elections. He was defeated in the 2015 election by retired Canadian Forces Lieutenant-General Andrew Leslie. In February 2014, he revealed that he was battling multiple myeloma, but insisted he would run for office again in the 2015 election. Galipeau died from the disease in 2018.
Yasir Abbas Naqvi is a Canadian politician who has served as the member of Parliament (MP) for Ottawa Centre since the 2021 federal election, sitting as a Liberal. Prior to his election to the House of Commons, Naqvi was active in Ontario provincial politics, serving as the first visible-minority attorney general of Ontario (2016–2018), minister of community safety and correctional services (2014–2016), and minister of labour (2013–2014). He represented Ottawa Centre in the Legislative Assembly. On June 3, 2023, Naqvi announced his candidacy for the 2023 Ontario Liberal Party Leadership Election in which he came third.

Karen A. McCrimmon is a Canadian Armed Forces veteran, mediator, and politician. She is the member of provincial parliament (MPP) for Kanata—Carleton and was elected in a by-election on July 27, 2023 as a member of the Ontario Liberal Party. She previously served as the Member of Parliament for Kanata—Carleton from 2015 to 2021. After a 31-year military career, McCrimmon retired as a lieutenant colonel. She was the first female navigator and the first woman to command a Canadian Forces air force squadron. She became involved in federal politics with the Liberal Party of Canada in 2008. In 2011, McCrimmon was the Liberal candidate for the federal election in the Carleton—Mississippi Mills riding and, in 2013, she unsuccessfully bid for the Liberal leadership. She was first elected to Parliament in the 2015 federal election and re-elected in 2019. She did not seek re-election in 2021, citing health issues.
Marie-France Lalonde is a Franco-Ontarian politician in Ontario, Canada who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for the riding of Orléans as a member of the Liberal Party of Canada since 2019. She also served as the Liberal Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for the provincial riding of Orléans from 2014 until 2019, when she resigned her seat to run federally. She then won in her riding with 54 percent of the vote.
