John McRae (born c.1924) is a former international lawn bowler from Scotland. [1] [2]

Biography

McRae represented the Scottish team at the 1974 British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch, New Zealand, [3] where he competed in the fours event, with Bill Scott, John Marshall and Morgan Moffat [4] and won a bronze medal. [5] [6]

He played for the Uddingston Bowls Club and captained Scotland for eight years. [7]
