Claude and Starck was an architectural firm in Madison, Wisconsin, at the turn of the twentieth century. The firm was a partnership of Louis W. Claude (1868-1951) and Edward F. Starck (1868-1947). Established in 1896, the firm dissolved in 1928. The firm designed over 175 buildings in Madison.

John Hawkins Rountree was an American farmer, businessman, politician, and Wisconsin pioneer. He was the founder of Platteville, Wisconsin, and was instrumental in the early development of that village. He was also one of the founders of the Northwestern Mutual Insurance Company, and remained a director in the company until his death. In politics, he represented Grant County for five years in the Wisconsin Legislature, and was a delegate to Wisconsin's 2nd constitutional convention in 1847.

The Thomas Driver and Sons Manufacturing Company is a complex of two historic factory buildings in downtown Racine, Wisconsin. The Thomas Driver and Sons manufacturing company itself was a manufacturer of sash windows and doors that was first established in 1867. The buildings, located at 134 South Main Street and 214 State Street, are on opposite sides of Second Street. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 14, 2004.

SS <i>Australasia</i> Defunct wooden-hulled American Great Lakes freighter

Australasia was a wooden-hulled American Great Lakes freighter that served on the Great Lakes of North America between her construction in 1884 to her burning and sinking in 1896. On October 18, 1896, while loaded with coal, the Australasia sank in Lake Michigan near the town of Sevastopol, Door County, Wisconsin, United States, after burning off Cana Island. On July 3, 2013, the wreck of the Australasia was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
