Education

Vinney earned HND and bachelor of mechanical engineering from Bournemouth University. He obtained his master's degree in mechanical engineering and PhD in mechanical engineering. He also holds Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in teaching and learning at higher level. [4]

Later life and career

Vinney is the current Vice Chancellor of Bournemouth University. [5] He has more twenty years of academic experience. He worked in the shipbuilding and aerospace sectors and his research is based on a wide range of subjects such as computational mechanics with concentration on health and aerospace application. [6]

He is a Deputy Lieutenant of Dorset. [7]
