John Wilson (born 1944) is a Canadian cattle rancher,veterinarian and former politician,who served as a BC Liberal Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1996 until his retirement at the 2005 election,representing the riding of Cariboo North. In 2010 he made an appearance in the season one finale of Dan for Mayor,as a representative of the Office of the Prime Minister.[ citation needed ]
Wilson studied at the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph and,after graduating in 1967,moved to Quesnel,British Columbia where he established the Quesnel Veterinary Clinic. He was president of the Quesnel Cattlemen's Association. [1]
The Ninety-Two Resolutions were drafted by Louis-Joseph Papineau and other members of the Parti patriote of Lower Canada in 1834. The resolutions were a long series of demands for political reforms in the British-governed colony.

Cariboo North is a former provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia,Canada. It was created by 1990 legislation dividing the previous two-member district of Cariboo,which came into effect for the 1991 BC election.
Cariboo was one of the twelve original electoral districts created when British Columbia became a Canadian province in 1871. Roughly corresponding to the old colonial electoral administrative district of the same name,it was a three-member riding until the 1894 election,when it was reduced through reapportionment and became a two-member riding until the 1916 election,after which it has been a single-member riding. It produced many notable Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs),including George Anthony Boomer Walkem,third and fifth holder of the office of Premier of British Columbia and who was one of the first representatives elected from the riding;John Robson,ninth Premier of British Columbia;and Robert Bonner,a powerful minister in the W.A.C. Bennett cabinet,and later CEO of MacMillan Bloedel and BC Hydro.
The Quesnel Millionaires were a junior "A" ice hockey team based in Quesnel,British Columbia,Canada. They were members of the Interior Conference of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). They played their home games at Quesnel Twin Arena. The ownership group accepted an offer from the Chiefs Development group to move them to Chilliwack to play in Prospera Centre as of 2011 which was vacated after the Chilliwack Bruins were sold and moved to Victoria,BC. They are now known as the Chilliwack Chiefs.
