Johnny Grattan Vaea Taione is a Tongan politician and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tonga. He is the younger brother of former MP Sione Havea Taione. [1]
Johnny Grattan Vaea Taione was first elected to Parliament in the 2023 Tongatapu 8 by-election. [1] He had previously run as a candidate in Tongatapu 8 in the 2021 Tongan general election. [2]

A by-election was held in the Tongatapu 9 constituency of Tonga on 15 September 2011. It was triggered by the death of the incumbent,the first time MP Kaveinga Faʻanunu,who died of head and neck cancer on 24 July.
