Shirleena Joice Labe Espinoza (born June 6, 2007) [1] is a Filipino singer, recording artist [2] and a beauty queen. [3] [4]

Early life

Shirleena Joice Labe Espinoza was born in Olongapo. From a young age, Espinoza showed a strong interest in music, pageantry, and performing arts. Her passion for music began with theme songs from children's shows and cartoons. Her mother enrolled her in vocal training in her hometown. [5]

As early as 10, Espinoza has been competing professionally in local and global stages such as Princess of the World in Pomorie, Bulgaria, where she won in the voice and modeling categories. [6]

Career

Espinoza began singing at a young age, performing in local competitions and events. [7]

In 2023, She made her television debut by competing on ABS-CBN's It's Showtime in season 7 of the "Tawag Ng Tanghalan" segment, advancing as a daily winner. She has also appeared in GMA Network's shows, TiktoClock's Tanghalan ng Kampeon . [6]

In December 2024, Espinoza released her debut single Pangako Mo, written by songwriter John Rey Malto. [8] [9] According to media reports, Pangako Mo reached over 1.2 million views on Facebook, and it was received awards from the Global Music Awards in California, the Europe Music Video Awards, the Parai Musical International Awards, and the World Music and Independent Film Festival. In November 2024, Espinoza received a nomination for Best New Female Artist at the 37th Aliw Awards. [14] [15] In 2025, Espinoza appeared on Eat Bulaga (TV5). While in the audience, she performed ‘Bakit Nga Ba Mahal Kita’ after being invited to do so. The performance was uploaded to Facebook, where it was viewed / shared on social media times according to Asian Journal. [16] That same year, she received the title of Influencer Singer of the Year at the 2025 Influencers Watchlist Awards. [17] [18] After Pangako Mo attracted attention in [social media], Espinoza stated in interviews that she is preparing new music drawing from her personal experiences and aspirations. [19] [20] In September 2025, ABS-CBN reported that she released a new single titled Hanggang Sa Muli. [21] [22]
