Jonathan Peveritt Brent (born 29 January 1956) is a Zimbabwean first-class cricketer who played for Manicaland cricket team and for the Zimbabwe cricket team in the 1990 ICC Trophy. [1] [2]
Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC),previously known as the Zimbabwe Cricket Union (ZCU) until 2004,is the governing body for the sport of cricket in Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe Cricket is a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC),and administers the Zimbabwe national cricket team,organising Test tours,One-Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals with other nations. It also organises domestic cricket,including the Castle Logan Cup,the Coca-Cola Metbank Pro50 Championship and the Stanbic Bank 20 Series in Zimbabwe.
The Zimbabwe national cricket team,also known as the Chevrons,represents Zimbabwe in men's international cricket and is overseen by Zimbabwe Cricket. Zimbabwe has been a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1992. As of May,2023,Zimbabwe is currently ranked 10th in Tests,11th in One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 11th in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) by the ICC.

Anthony John Ireland is a former cricketer from Zimbabwe. A fast bowler,he performed consistently during his tenure with Zimbabwe,taking 38 wickets in 26 matches at an average of 29.34. He was one of many talented white Zimbabweans to leave the team due to the situation of the ZCU and the country,to pursue careers in English domestic cricket,where he represented Gloucestershire and Middlesex before joining Leicestershire for the 2013 season,retiring from professional cricket at the end of the 2014 season.

Sinikiwe Gava Mpofu was a Zimbabwean cricket player and coach. She represented the Zimbabwe women's national cricket team at two editions of the Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier. She later coached Mountaineers and Southerns in Zimbabwean domestic cricket.

The 2022 Capricorn Women's Tri-Series was a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was held in Namibia in April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Namibia,along with Uganda and Zimbabwe. The tournament consisted of a triple round-robin stage followed by a final between the top two teams. The series was the first as head coach of Zimbabwe Women for former international cricketer Gary Brent.
The 2022 United Arab Emirates Women's Quadrangular Series was a women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) cricket tournament that was played in Dubai from 10 to 13 September 2022. The participants were the women's national sides of United Arab Emirates,Thailand,United States and Zimbabwe. The tournament provided all four teams with preparation for the 2022 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier.
