Jonathan Thomas Coutlangus (born October 21,1980) is an American baseball assistant coach at North Greenville University.
Previously,he was an outfielder and pitcher for Major League Baseball.
He played college baseball at the University of South Carolina with his current head coach Landon Powell. Both were part of the Gamecocks' 56–10 season in 2000 and played in Major League Baseball before coaching.
Coutlangus was drafted in the 33rd round of the 2000 amateur draft,but did not sign. In 2003,the San Francisco Giants drafted Coutlangus in the 19th round. Originally drafted as an outfielder,he was batting just .194 in 71 games with the Hagerstown Suns in 2004. The Suns then converted him to a pitcher. [1] Coutlangus was claimed off waivers by the Cincinnati Reds on March 31,2006 and played in the minor leagues with the Chattanooga Lookouts and Louisville Bats.
Coutlangus made his major league debut in 2007. After being designated for assignment at the end of spring training,Coutlangus was traded to the Diamondbacks on April 7,2008,but never played in the major leagues again.
He is now the pitching coach for the North Greenville University baseball team in Greenville,South Carolina,coached by Powell,and part of the Ray Tanner coaching tree.
Charles Wesley Thomas is an American former left fielder in Major League Baseball. Thomas played with the Atlanta Braves (2004),and Oakland Athletics (2005). He batted and threw left-handed.
The Hagerstown Suns were a Minor League Baseball team based in Hagerstown,Maryland. They were a member of the South Atlantic League and,from 2007 through 2020,were the Class A affiliate of the Washington Nationals. They played their home games at Municipal Stadium which was opened in 1930 and seated 4,600 people. The team mascot was Woolie,a giant woolly bear caterpillar.

He played 20 seasons in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Baltimore Orioles,Seattle Mariners,Oakland Athletics,Cleveland Indians,Philadelphia Phillies,Florida Marlins,Cincinnati Reds,Texas Rangers,and St. Louis Cardinals.
Samuel Franklin Narron is an American former professional baseball pitcher and current pitching coach for the Potomac Nationals. He pitched in one game in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Texas Rangers in the 2004 season. He was selected by the Texas Rangers in the 15th round of the 2002 MLB draft. On April 28,2008,Narron hit a home run for the Huntsville Stars,the first home run on the season for a pitcher. The Hagerstown Suns Minor League Baseball team was established in Hagerstown,Maryland,in 1981. The Suns remained in the Carolina League through 1988. In 1989,team ownership purchased the Williamsport Bills franchise of the Double-A Eastern League (EL) and relocated the team to Hagerstown. The Double-A Suns carried on the history of the Class A team that preceded it. After just four seasons,the Eastern League franchise left. The Myrtle Beach Hurricanes franchise of the Class A South Atlantic League (SAL) relocated to Hagerstown for the 1993 season where they became the Suns and continued the previous Suns teams' history.
