Jonathan David Kline (born May 22, 1980 in Corvallis, Oregon, United States) is an American cinematographer and filmmaker, known for his work on television, commercials, and films.

Biography

Jon Kline earned his first cinematographer credit in 2007 on the short film Six Bullets . [1] His other notable credits include cinematographer on the music video "Tiderays" by Volcano Choir. [2] He founded MKE Production Rental, an audiovisual equipment rental company, in Milwaukee in 2013. He currently lives in Chicago with his wife, Anna Pesok Kline. [3]

Joseph Francis Biroc, ASC was an American cinematographer. He was born in New York City and began working in films at the Paragon Studios in Fort Lee, New Jersey. After working there for approximately six years, he moved to Los Angeles. Once in Southern California, Biroc worked at the RKO Pictures movie studio. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and filmed the Liberation of Paris in August 1944. In 1950, Biroc left RKO Pictures and freelanced on projects at various studios. In addition to his film work, which included It's a Wonderful Life (1946) and The Flight of the Phoenix (1965), Biroc worked on various television series, including the Adventures of Superman and Wonder Woman. He frequently collaborated with film director Robert Aldrich.

Martin Kenzie was a British second unit director and cinematographer whose works include feature films such as The Shining (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), Aliens (1986), The King's Speech (2010) and TV series including Rome (2005) and Game of Thrones (2012). He was a member of the British Society of Cinematographers as a Camera Operator and was later elected a "Full Member of the Society" with BSC accreditation in 2012. Kenzie was diagnosed with cancer and was being operated on with the help of Macmillan Cancer Support. He died on 16 July 2012 at the age of 56. The Game of Thrones season three premiere episode, "Valar Dohaeris", aired on 31 March 2013, was dedicated to the memory of Kenzie in the credits.

He achieved prominence for his collaborations with writer-director Bill Forsyth, and went on to work on high-profile films like Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994), Sense and Sensibility (1995), FairyTale: A True Story (1997), Notting Hill (1999), Mansfield Park, Love Actually (2003), The Bank Job (2008), and The Hustle (2019). He was nominated for an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award for his work on Sense and Sensibility. He is a member of the British Society of Cinematographers, and BAFTA Scotland.

Joan Hutton is a Canadian cinematographer, with work featured in over 36 films. She is best known for her work in Hitman Hart: Wrestling with Shadows (1998), The Famine Within (1990), The Spring and Fall of Nina Polanski (1974) and the TV series The Newsroom. Hutton was the first female president of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers, and the first woman to be given the ability to place 'csc' after her name, which represents being a full member.

Pratap. P. Nair born in Thiruvananthapuram the capital city of Kerala, Pratap is a cinematographer based in Kerala. Pratap attended Film and Television Institute of India, Pune and graduated in the year 2004. After graduating from FTII, Pratap moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in cinematography. He is best known for films like Mundrothuruth, August Club and Reti. He worked in film production jobs in Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai, including associate cameraman, Camera Assistant and Camera Operator. A few among his various other achievements and recognition's are National award, non feature section in the year 2002, UGC national award for best documentary direction in 2005, film critics award (television) 2012. Pratap has worked as Director of Photography for six Malayalam films and five Marathi films. Pratap has to his credit, more than fifty documentaries, short films and tv commercials and continues to work as a Director of Photography splitting his time between Mumbai, Kolkata and Trivandrum.

Polly Morgan is a British cinematographer who has worked on the studio feature films Lucy in the Sky (2019), A Quiet Place Part II (2020), Where the Crawdads Sing (2022), and The Woman King (2022). She was also the cinematographer for multiple episodes of the TV series Legion (2017–2019). Morgan is accredited by the British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) and the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC). To date, she is the only woman to be a member of both, and she is the youngest member of ASC.
