Jonathan Paul Cambry (born 1982) [1] is an American classical pianist, teacher, composer and producer from Chicago, Illinois. He has performed at multiple locations around the world, most notably the Chicago Symphony Center as part of the 2012 Chicago Piano Day curated by concert pianist and Grammy-winning Soviet-born naturalized American classical pianist, Emanuel Ax. [2] [3] Pianists at this festival included world-renowned pianists Jorge Federico Osorio, Jeremy Denk, Reginald Robinson, Marc-André Hamelin, Orli Shaham, Valentina Lisitsa, Bill Charlap, Renee Rosnes and others.

Cambry is also the founder of the American Chamber Opera, a Chamber opera in the United States which performs famous operatic works in English, and has been featured on NBC [4] and WGN [5] networks in Chicago.

Jonathan Cambry is a graduate of the University of Chicago Laboratory High Schools class of 2000.

In 2012, he performed at all of the locations in the Memorial Day Weekend Keys to the City Piano Festival, that was created by the city of Chicago. [2]

Jonathan Cambry was recently a guest lecturer at the University of Montana School of Business Administration and is the brother of Emile Cambry, Jr. [6]

Along with being a musician, Jonathan Cambry is on the leadership team of technology incubator BLUE1647, which is expanding to many locations across the midwest and founded by brother Emile. [7]

Jonathan Cambry's father Emile Sr., is a native of Haiti who came to the US to become an emergency department doctor, while his mother Emily spent almost thirty years as both a nurse and a social worker. [8]

The Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Music, or Bienen School of Music, is an undergraduate and graduate institution devoted to musical performance and academics. Pablo Ziegler is an Argentine composer, pianist, arranger based in New York City. He is currently the leading exponent of nuevo tango, thanks to the skills and reputation he gathered while working extensively as Ástor Piazzolla's regular pianist from 1978 until the maestro's retirement for health reasons in 1989. During their collaboration, they performed with Milva, Placido Domingo, Gary Burton among others. The Bowdoin International Music Festival is an annual summer music school and concert series that takes place in Brunswick, Maine. Shai Wosner is a pianist. He was born in Israel in 1976 and is now living in the United States. He studied piano with Emanuel Krasovsky in Tel-Aviv. Emile gained experience in Investment Banking for J.P. Morgan Chase as well as teaching as he was a Professor at North Park University and recognized as one of the Top 50 Business School Professors.
