Jonnie Juice is a New Zealand retired professional wrestler. He is currently contracted to the Wellington based promotion Kiwi Pro Wrestling.
Juice was among of the first trainees of Martin Stirling prior to the creation of Wellington Pro Wrestling (now known as New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling) and is credited with being one of the "originals" of the current Wellington wrestling scene, and a founding father of NZWPW.
He had many matches with and against fellow beginning trainees, including "The Fiery One" Inferno, Creed, The Ram, D Hoya and X-Rated. He was part of a clique of babyfaces known as "The Youngbloods", consisting of himself, Inferno and D Hoya.
In January 2005, Juice went from being a popular face and turned heel, turning on his best friend Inferno.
On 4 November 2005, at NZWPW's final show of the year, Eruption II, Juice captured the NZWPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship after defeating then champion Island Boy Si and H-Flame is a triple threat match. Juice lost the title five months later to D Hoya at Powerplay 3 before leaving the company in May 2006.
In June 2005, several wrestlers from NZWPW left to form another wrestling promotion in Wellington, Kiwi Pro Wrestling. With the company switch came a character transformation and name change.
Jonnie Juice adopted a suave persona, he became known for wearing a black shirt with a white tie, and was accompanied to the ring by Jessie and Hollie, clad in the same garb – collectively known as Team Pretty. [1]
In KPW's first show Storm Warning he was involved in the Heavyweight tournament to name the first contender to the KPW Heavyweight Title. He won against Buck in the first round via count out, and went on to lose to H-Flame in round two. At KPW's second show, Ring Rampage, he won a Battle Royal to become the second contender for the KPW Heavyweight title. Jonnie Juice and H-Flame fought for the right to be the first champion at KPW's third show, Eruption. Jonnie was bested by H-Flame, and the two went on to have many matches over the following year. Since, he has been involved in many different capacities – he suffered an injury that kept him out of in-ring action for 10 months, [3] but came back full strength and is again an active member of the roster. More recently, the third member of Team Pretty lost a Loser Leaves Town Diva Strap Match due to interference from Jonnie Juice, thus leaving Team Pretty as the duo of Hollie and himself. [4]
On 16 July 2010, Jonnie Juice lost to long-time rival Inferno in a Career vs. Career match, forcing him to retire from active competition in Kiwi Pro Wrestling.

World Wrestling All-Stars (WWA) was a professional wrestling promotion founded by Australian concert promoter Andrew McManus in 2001. Michael Morgan is a former professional wrestler from New Zealand who competed in the National Wrestling Alliance, World Championship Wrestling and World Class Championship Wrestling as Rip Morgan. He is perhaps best known as one half of the New Zealand Militia in WCW with Jack Victory. Morgan also wrestled in WCW/NAWA/SAPW with Victory as "The Royal Family". He was the last flag bearer for the original New Zealand Sheepherders. He was formerly the CEO of the now defunct Wellington-based professional wrestling promotion Kiwi Pro Wrestling.
New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling (NZWPW) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Petone and later Wainuiomata in New Zealand. The promotion entered a hiatus in 2018, when former NZWPW wrestler, Jay Marshall left the promotion to start Capital Pro Wrestling. Since 2020, professional wrestling and training in Wainuiomata is now run by former NZWPW wrestler, Hayden Thiele with his Valiant Pro promotion. This promotion has many former wrestlers from NZWPW such as Axl Stirling, "Rufguts" Roddy Gunn, Chad Howard and Jade Priest.
Edward Dorozowsky is a Canadian professional wrestler and former promoter, best known by his ring name SeXXXy Eddy. He has competed in several North American independent promotions including Chikara, Combat Zone Wrestling, IWA Mid-South, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, Northern Championship Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and has toured Europe with International Pro Wrestling: United Kingdom and Westside Xtreme Wrestling.
The Independent Wrestling Federation (IWF) is a professional wrestling promotion based in Nutley, New Jersey. Impact Pro Wrestling (IPW), also known as New Zealand Impact Pro Wrestling, is a New Zealand professional wrestling promotion. It has promoted regular events throughout the country and abroad in the last several years and is credited for being the first to bring live wrestling shows to cities, such as Hamilton and Whangarei, in over two decades.
The NZWPW Heavyweight Championship was the top professional wrestling championship title in the New Zealand promotion New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling (NZWPW). It was the original super heavyweight title of Wellington Pro Wrestling and introduced as the WPW Super Heavyweight Championship on 3 December 2004. The inaugural champion was Ruamoko, who defeated Les Barrett in a tournament final in Lower Hutt, New Zealand on 25 April 1992. The title became vacant when Ruamoko suffered an injury in early-2005 and, after the promotion became New Zealand Wide Pro Wrestling, it was replaced by the NZWPW Heavyweight Championship first won by Island Boy Si on 25 March 2005.
IPW New Zealand Heavyweight Championship is the top professional wrestling championship title in the New Zealand promotion Impact Pro Wrestling. It was the original heavyweight title of the Mania Pro Wrestling promotion, later used in IPW as its primary singles title. It was introduced as the MPW Heavyweight Championship on 9 April 2002. When a new promotion was founded by a core group of MPW wrestlers in 2003, the title was established as its new heavyweight championship.
Sydney Mervin "Merv" Batt, best known by his ring name Steve Rickard, was a New Zealand professional wrestler, trainer and promoter. As a wrestler, he traveled throughout the world during the 1960s and 1970s, often visiting countries where professional wrestling was unknown such as southeast Asia, and was one of the top competitors to come from New Zealand during that era. Rickard was a frequent opponent for many foreign wrestlers travelling overseas including NWA World Heavyweight Champions such as Jack Brisco, Dory Funk Jr., Harley Race and "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair. He also had high-profile matches with Karl Gotch, Killer Kowalski, The Destroyer, André the Giant, Abe Jacobs and King Kong as well.
The Dominion Wrestling Union (DWU) was the first professional wrestling promotion in New Zealand. It was one of two organisations first active in the Australasian region, along with Australia's Stadiums Limited, and served as the country's single major promotion for 30 years until being succeeded by All Star Pro Wrestling in 1962. The DWU was initially under the control of the New Zealand Wrestling Union, a sort of governing body which promoted both amateur and professional bouts, until American promoter Walter Miller largely took over the running of professional events in 1935 and which remained under Miller's control until his death in 1959.
Abner Robert Jacobs was a New Zealand professional wrestler. He was one of the first men to follow fellow New Zealander Pat O'Connor to the United States where, like O'Connor, Jacobs became a major star in the National Wrestling Alliance during the "Golden Age of Wrestling". One of the most recognisable "babyfaces" during this period, he was billed as the "Jewish Heavyweight Champion" and wrestled in a number of high-profile matches with many stars of the era including numerous bouts against NWA World Heavyweight Champions Lou Thesz, Gene Kiniski, Buddy Rogers, Dick Hutton and Pat O'Connor. His bout against O'Connor in 1961, which aired on Capitol Wrestling's weekly television show, was the first time two New Zealanders wrestled for a championship title on foreign soil.
Allan "Al" Hobman was a New Zealand professional wrestler, trainer and promoter. Hobman was one of the first homegrown stars to emerge from the Dominion Wrestling Union, and later Steve Rickard's All Star-Pro Wrestling, during the 1960s and 70s such as Tony Garea, Peter Maivia and The Sheepherders. Hobman twice won the NWA New Zealand Heavyweight Championship from John Da Silva in 1960 and Steve Rickard in 1964 with a combined reign of nearly 6 years as champion. He and Rickard were also the first New Zealand Tag Team Champions.
Bryan Ashby is a retired New Zealand professional wrestler and trainer, known by his ring name Bruno Bekkar, who competed for Steve Rickard's All Star-Pro Wrestling and for other promoters in New Zealand and Australia from the early 1960s until his retirement in 1992. One of the country's biggest stars during the 1970s, he is a three-time NWA New Zealand Heavyweight Champion and a former NWA Australia Heavyweight Champion. He also teamed with Don Kent in the Puerto Rico-based World Wrestling Council as the fourth incarnation of the Fabulous Kangaroos and together twice won the WWC North American Tag Team Championship in 1981.
Joseph Ryan Robinson, better known by his ring name Juice Robinson, is an American professional wrestler, currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Robinson is also a member of the Bullet Club stable and also wrestles in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW).

Pro Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling, and most notably Progress Wrestling, where he is a former World Champion. He works in mexican promotions such as International Wrestling Revolution Group, Kaoz Lucha Libre, The Crash Lucha Libre and Wrestling League Society. As of 2023 he is the fourth champion of the Morelia, Michoacan wrestling promotion SCW.
