Jordan High School is a senior high school in Fulshear, Texas. It is a part of the Katy Independent School District (KISD), and opened to students in the fall of 2020. [3]
It was collectively named after the Jordan family, which has strong roots to both Katy and KISD. [4] The building had a cost of over $206 million, and its size is above 650,000 square feet (60,000 m2) of space. It has three gymnasiums, an eight-lane, 25-yard (75 ft) natatorium, a 900-seat performing arts center, 9 tennis courts, a football field and baseball stadium with a smaller softball stadium. [5] All the grade levels share the school equally; there are no segregated grade level areas. Jordan High School also has 2 cafeterias to fit its many students, with one being significantly larger than the other.
Jordan opened in fall 2020 with only freshman and sophomores, but has grown to house juniors and seniors as of the 2022-2023 school year. The first class that graduated out of the school was the Class of 2023. [6]
It took territory from Seven Lakes High School and Obra D. Tompkins High School, and is the ninth comprehensive high school that its school district has established. [4] It is also the biggest high school in Katy ISD. [7]
Jordan High School takes students in from Adams Junior High School and Seven Lakes Junior High School. [8] Jordan High School is known for its quick achievements from sports and extracurricular, and is known to be a rising school for its sports teams.

Byron Nelson High School is a public high school located in Trophy Club, Texas about 20 miles (32 km) north of Fort Worth, Texas, in Denton County and opened in August 2009 for the 09–10 school year. It is the second high school in the Northwest Independent School District. The school cost $86.5 million dollars to build. It is approximately 504,000 square feet (46,800 m2), with a 32,000-square-foot (3,000 m2) courtyard in the middle. The academic wing seats a 700-seat cafeteria with a mall-style food court serving layout. It is built along the property of the Army Corps of Engineers, along the edge of where Denton Creek flows into Lake Grapevine at the lake's southwestern corner. In 2013, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency. In 2019, Byron Nelson High School earned an "A" according to TEA's school accountability rating system.
Lebanon Trail High School is a public high school located in Frisco, Texas, United States that is part of the Frisco Independent School District. The school opened its doors in August 2016 for the 2016–2017 academic year. The school is the district's ninth high school. Upon opening, only freshman attended the school, unlike most other high schools in the district. This decision was made by the district in order to not move students from high schools multiple times, as other high schools had recently opened in the area less than 4 years prior. Around 2,000 students attend Lebanon High making it one of the largest high schools in Frisco ISD in terms of student population. For the 2021-2022 school year, the school was rated "A" by the Texas Education Agency.
