Jorden Feliciano (born December 7, 1985) is a Canadian Portuguese professional football coach. He is currently an assistant coach for the Halifax Wanderers in the Canadian Premier League. [1]
Jorden began his youth career playing in Cambridge, Ontario with Oriental SC in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL). He then played with PCC Supersonics in the OSL until 2008. [2]
Feliciano served as an assistant coach to Mario Halapir and the Wilfrid Laurier Men's Soccer team from 2008 to 2011. [2] In their first year together, the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks won the 2008 OUA Championship. [3] That team was inducted into the Golden Hawk Hall of Fame in 2019. [4]
From 2008 to 2013, Feliciano had various roles in the local grassroots and amateur men's soccer community. As a staff coach, he worked for Elite Athletes International (2008–2011) and Cambridge Youth Soccer (2011–2013). In a volunteer capacity, he coached PCC Supersonics (U21 Men) from 2008 to 2011 and KPC Leos (KDSL Men) in 2013.
Feliciano was hired by Sergio De Luca at Vaughan Soccer Club in 2014, to coach in the inaugural season of OPDL. During his time at VSC, Feliciano coached teams in both genders, across various levels in the province (OPDL, OYSL, OWSL & OSL).
In 2019, he was promoted to OPDL Director and was a staff coach for the Vaughan's League1 Ontario teams. Under the guidance of Carmine Isacco and Patrice Gheisar, he served as assistant coach to the L1O Men's team [5] and head coach of the L1O Women's team. [6] In 2022, he was nominated for the "L1O's Women's Premier Division Coach of the Year" award. [7] Feliciano also coached the L1O Men's and Women's reserve teams until 2022.
On December 19, 2022, Feliciano was announced as an assistant coach to Gheisar at Halifax Wanderers FC for the 2023 Canadian Premier League season. [8]
He currently holds UEFA A and USSF National A licenses. [9]
