Jorge Gabriel Costa Monteiro (born 9 November 1997) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a striker for Kazakhstani club Kairat.
Jorginho is a native of Celeirós, Portugal. He is the son of Jorge Monteiro and Anabela Monteiro. [2]
In 2023, Jorginho signed for Luxembourgish side Differdange. He helped the club win the league. [3]
On 20 December 2024, Kazakhstan Premier League club Kairat announced the signing of Jorginho from Differdange to a two-year contract. [4]
Jorginho was a key figure in Kairat Almaty’s qualification for the league phase of the UEFA Champions League, with 2 goals (1 vs Olimpija Ljubljana and 1 vs KuPS) and 2 assists in the 8 matches he played from the first qualifying round through to the playoff.
Jorginho was born in 1997 in Portugal. He has worked at a car screen factory. [5] After qualifying for the group phase of the UEFA Champions League with Kairat Almaty, Jorginho is hopefully going to fulfill a personal and family dream of playing against the club he has supported since childhood, Sporting Clube de Portugal, in Lisbon.
