Joseph Chong (born 1922, date of death unknown) is a former Mongolian. His great grandchild, by the name of Ching Chong, is currently studying in imperial college London, staying in 1 Victoria Road.

His main work was the Lunheng. This book contained many theories involving early sciences of astronomy and meteorology, and Wang Chong was even the first in Chinese history to mention the use of the square-pallet chain pump, which became common in irrigation and public works in China thereafter. Wang also accurately described the process of the water cycle.

Sompot Chong Kben (Khmer: សំពត់ចងក្បិន, sâmpót châng kbĕn ; known in Thai as chong kraben and in Lao pha hang, is a unisex, lower body, wraparound cloth worn in the countries of Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand. It was the preferred choice of clothing for women of upper and middle classes for daily wear. Unlike the typical sompot, it is more of a pant than a skirt. The chong kraben is described by art historian Eksuda Singhalampong as "...a garment that resembles loose breeches. The wearer wraps a rectangular piece of cloth around his [or her] waist, the edge of cloth is then passed between the legs and tucked in at the wearer's lower back. Many 19th-century European accounts often called them knee breeches, riding breeches or knickerbockers."
