"Poland Is Not Yet Lost", also known as "Mazurek Dąbrowskiego", and the "Song of the Polish Legions in Italy", is the national anthem of the Republic of Poland.
Saint Mary's College, also known as St. Mary's College of Madonna University, is a private college located in Orchard Lake Village, Michigan. St. Mary's College shares its campus with St. Mary's Preparatory and SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary. It is located on the former site of the Michigan Military Academy. It was founded in 1885 by Fr. Joseph Dabrowski and transferred in 2003 to become St. Mary's College of and the Orchard Lake Campus of Madonna University. Enrollment before the transfer was about 130 and specialized in Polish and Polish-American studies.
Jarosław Żądło-Dąbrowski, also known as Jaroslav Dombrowski, was a Polish nobleman and military officer in the Imperial Russian Army, a left-wing independence activist and radical republican for Poland, and general and military commander of the Paris Commune in its final days. He was a participant in the Polish 1863 January Uprising and one of the leaders of the "Red" faction among the insurrectionists as a member of the Central National Committee and the Polish Provisional National Government.

The seminary, taking its name from Saints Cyril and Methodius, was founded in 1885 in Detroit, Michigan, to prepare candidates for the Roman Catholic priesthood primarily to serve Polish American immigrant communities.

The theory of positive disintegration (TPD) is an idea of personality development developed by Polish psychologist Kazimierz Dąbrowski. Unlike mainstream psychology, the idea views psychological tension and anxiety as necessary for personal growth. These "disintegrative" processes are "positive", whereas people who fail to go through positive disintegration may stop at "primary integration", possessing individuality but nevertheless lacking an autonomous personality and remaining impressionable. Entering into disintegration and subsequent higher processes of development continues through developmental potential, including over-excitability and hypersensitivity.

Bronisław Dąbrowski was a Polish bishop of the Roman Catholic Church. He was auxiliary bishop of Warsaw 1962–1993 and general secretary of the Polish Episcopal Conference 1968–1993. In 1982 Dąbrowski became titular archbishop pro hac vice and in 1993 senior bishop of the Warsaw Archdiocese. Because of his function in the Episcopal Conference, Dąbrowski participated in political events of communist Poland. In December 1981 he wrote a letter to General Wojciech Jaruzelski in which he condemned the proclamation of the martial law in Poland and the subsequent repressions by the regime.

Joseph Andrzej Dabrowski is a Polish-Canadian prelate of the Catholic Church who has served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of London, Ontario since 2015. Prior to being ordained a bishop, he was the North American superior of the Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel beginning in 2013.
