Joseph R. Reilly

Joseph Richard Reilly is an American Catholic priest and academic administrator who has served as president of Seton Hall University since 2024. [1] [2] He was named a monsignor in 2005. Pope Francis appointed him a Missionary of Mercy in 2015. [3] He was accused of covering up sexual abuse prior to his appointment at Seton Hall, prompting an independent review ordered in 2025 by the Archbishop of Newark, Cardinal Joseph W. Tobin. [4]
