Accra Great Olympics is a Ghanaian professional football club based in Accra, Greater Accra. The club is currently competing in the Ghana Premier League. It has won the Ghana Premier League twice, in 1970, 1974 and the Ghana FA Cup thrice, in 1975, 1983 and 1995. Since its inception the club has forged a fierce rivalry between their neighbours Accra Hearts of Oak which has culminated into interesting game weeks over the years when the two face each other.

Following her appointment to the Supreme Court bench, she became the first woman to become a Justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana. She served in that role from 1991 till 2004 when she retired. She was also the first woman to be elected a Speaker of Parliament in the West African sub-region.
The Chale Wote Street Art Festival also known as Chale Wote is an alternative platform that brings art, music, dance and performance out into the streets. The festival targets exchanges between scores of local and international artists and patrons by creating and appreciating art together.
Mabel Dove Danquah was a Gold Coast-born journalist, political activist, and creative writer, one of the earliest women in West Africa to work in these fields. As Francis Elsbend Kofigah notes in relation to Ghana's literary pioneers, "before the emergence of such strong exponents of literary feminism as Efua Sutherland and Ama Ata Aidoo, there was Mabel Dove Danquah, the trail-blazing feminist." She used various pseudonyms in her writing for newspapers from the 1930s: "Marjorie Mensah" in The Times of West Africa; "Dama Dumas" in the African Morning Post; "Ebun Alakija" in the Nigerian Daily Times; and "Akosua Dzatsui" in the Accra Evening News. Entering politics in the 1950s before Ghana's independence, she became the first woman to be elected a member of any African legislative assembly. She created the awareness and the need for self-governance through her works.
Eric Kwakye Darfour is a Ghanaian politician and a member of the New Patriotic Party in Ghana. He is the Eastern Regional minister of Ghana. He was appointed by President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo in January 2017 and was approved by the Members of Parliament in February 2017.

Winnifred Kyei Selby is a young Ghanaian social entrepreneur and the president of the EPF Educational Empowerment Initiative based in Kumasi, Ashanti Region of Ghana. She co-founded the Ghana Bamboo Bike Initiative with Bernice Dapaah at the age of 15. And At age 17, she established another business, the Afrocentric Bamboo Initiative. In 2018, she became the first Ghanaian to be inducted into the Royal Institute of Singapore.
Stella Saaka is a Ghanaian women's rights activist based in the Talensi district of the Upper East region of Ghana. It is known that women in the Upper East region face difficulties in acquiring land. She is however known as the only woman to have successfully convinced the traditional and local authorities to part with 29 acres of land for 30 women farmers in the Talensi District. In 2019, she was honored by Stephanie Sullivan, the U.S. ambassador with a Ghana Woman of Courage Award. She is currently the regional organizing secretary for Women in Agriculture Platforms(WAP), a government project sponsored by the US Agency for International Development (USAID).
Juliet Bawuah is a Ghanaian sports journalist who has written for top media houses. She has interviewed FIFA President, Gianni Infantino as well as the former World Player of the Year and current Liberia President George Weah. She became well known as a result of her interview with Gianni Infantino, on the sidelines of a FIFA Summit in the North-Western African country, Mauritania. She also founded the Africa Women's Sports Summit, a program that brings together Africa's leading female sports names and aspiring ones.

Attram De Visser Soccer Academy (ADVSA) is a Ghanaian professional football club based near Sowutuom in the Greater Accra Region that was founded by Ghanaian internal footballer Godwin Attram and Dutch coach Piet de Visser. They compete in the Division Two League and the MTN FA Cup.

MŠK ŽilinaAfricaFootball Club is a Ghanaian football club affiliated to Slovak Superliga club MŠK Žilina.
