Jot Singh Gunsola [1] [2] is an Indian politician from Uttarakhand and a two term Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. Gunsola represents the Mussoorie (Uttarakhand Assembly constituency). [3] He twice served as the Chairman of Mussoorie Municipal Council. Gunsola is a member of the Indian National Congress.

Dehradun, also known as Dera Doon, is the winter capital and the most populated city of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun district of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is about 35 kilometres (22 mi) from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km (180 mi) north of the national capital of New Delhi. The hill station is in the foothills of the Garhwal Himalayan range. The adjoining town of Landour, which includes a military cantonment, is considered part of "greater Mussoorie", as are the townships of Barlowganj and Jharipani.

Dehradun district is a district of Uttarakhand state in northern India. The district headquarters is Dehradun, which has also served as the interim capital of Uttarakhand since its founding in 2000. He was MLA of the Karnprayag constituency from 2012 to 2017 and Badrinath constituency from 2002 to 2007. In the Uttarakhand Assembly election of 2012, Maikhuri won the Karnaprayag constituency with a 227-vote margin. From 2002 to 2007, he was an elected MLA from the Badrinath constituency. Pritam Singh is an Indian politician who is the current President of Uttarakhand Pradesh Congress Committee. He is a four term Member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. During the Congress government in Uttarakhand he had served as a Cabinet Minister for Home, Rural Development, Food and Civil Supplies, Panchayti Raj and Minor Irrigation in Government of Uttarakhand. He was also elected as a Member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 1993. Singh represents Chakrata. He is a member of the Indian National Congress.

Sarita Arya Indian politician (born 1961)

Sarita Arya is the elected Congress Party M.L.A from 58 Legislative Assembly seat of lake city Nainital in the state of Uttarakhand. She was elected in the year 2012 and will hold the elected post till 2017. By winning the Nainital seat she has set a unique record of being the first women to win this prestigious seat since independence. Before her three women candidates contested on this seat but could not win. Her party Indian National Congress bagged this seat after a long gap of 23 years, this seat was either with UKD or BJP(Bharatiya Janata Party) starting from the year 1989 until she won in the assembly polls of 2012.

Ganesh Joshi is an Indian politician and currently a minister of Government of Uttarakhand under chief minister Tirath Singh Rawat. He is member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Joshi is a 3rd time member of the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly from the Mussoorie constituency in Dehradun district.

Vijaya Barthwal is an Indian politician from the Bhartiya Janta Party.She is one of the most senior and active politician in Uttarakhand. She is three term member of legislative assembly and had represented Yamkeshwar assembly constituency of Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand. She was in Cabinet of chief minister B. C. Khanduri and Ramesh Pokhariyal's government. She served as the first deputy speaker of Uttarakhand.
