The Journalist is the magazine of the United Kingdom's National Union of Journalists (NUJ) which is published six times a year. [1] It was started as a newspaper and was relaunched as a magazine in 1993. [2] Since April 2008, the magazine is available online. [3]

Martin OHagan Irish investigative journalist

Owen Martin O'Hagan was an Irish investigative journalist from Lurgan, Northern Ireland and a former member of the Official Irish Republican Army who spent much of the 1970s in prison. He was assassinated by the Loyalist Volunteer Force, the only journalist to be killed in Northern Ireland before the killing of Lyra McKee in April 2019.
