He was the previous world record holder in individual pursuit and he is the current record holder of the hour record, which he unified with the best human effort since the distinction was first made in 1997.
Jorge Alves da Silva, known as just Jorge, was a Brazilian footballer. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1968 Summer Olympics. Jorge died on 16 November 2018, at the age of 72.
Ricardo Antonio Piccinini is an Argentinian-born Guatemalan footballer. After his naturalization in 1975, he competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics and the 1988 Summer Olympics. His appearance in the latter at the age of 39 makes him the oldest footballer to ever play in the Olympics.
Raimundo Alves is a Brazilian boxer. He competed in the men's featherweight event at the 1976 Summer Olympics. At the 1976 Summer Olympics, he lost to Juan Paredes of Mexico.
