Juan Maceiras' father is Juan Antonio Maceiras who is a live trainee and former online professional poker player, also known as Vietcong01, [11] a two time Sunday Million winner, [11] [12] and the former mayor of Miño, A Coruña. [13]

His sister May Maceiras is a semi-amateur poker player. [2]

Career

Maceiras finished eighth in the World Championship of Texas Hold'em in 2024 for $1,125,000. [13] [14] [15] [16]

He finished 5th in the European Poker Tour Grand Final in 2011 for $467,532. [17] [18]

As of October 2024, his total live tournament winnings almost equals $3,000,000. [3]
