Juan Manuel Barrientos Valencia is a Colombian chef and businessman.[ citation needed ]

Early life and education

Juan Manuel was born in Medellin, Colombia. He studied at Colegiatura Colombiana in Medellin and Mariano Moreno in Buenos Aires.[ citation needed ] He is also recognized as "Juanma.”

He founded the El Cielo restaurant chain in 2006. [1] In 2015, Juan opened the original Elcielo Miami which received Michelin star in Florida's first-ever Michelin Guide in 2022. [2]

Awards and recognition

He has been named one of the 50 best chefs of Latin America, [3] and was awarded the Revelation Chef Award by Madrid Fusion. [4] [5]

He is the recipient of Michelin Award.[ citation needed ]

Advocate of Peace

One of his projects is translated as "In El Cielo, we are cooking up peace in Colombia" ("En El Cielo, estamos cocinando la paz de Colombia"). [6]

Lágrimas Cálidas is the debut studio album by Colombian recording artist Fanny Lu, released on August 8, 2006. The record contains ten tracks, most of which were composed by Jose Gaviria, and produced with Andres Munera. Musically, the album experiments with tropipop, which is composed of the genres of vallenato, merengue, and pop music. Recording for the album took place in 2004 in three cities: Miami, Bogota and Medellin. An international version of the album, containing two remixes, was released exclusively in United States, Spain and Colombia.
